Tranquil 2 Bedroom Home

Make yourself at home in our quiet corner of the Comox Valley. Morning sunshine, singing birds and hot coffee can be thoroughly enjoyed on our partially covered deck. A peaceful place to spend the day relaxing. Travel 31 km to Mount Washington, 11 km to Saratoga Beach and Miracle Beach/Mini Golf, an hours walk to Williams Beach and 13 km from Courtenay. At the end of the day, finish off where you started, put your feet up, take in the night skies, watch TV or a hot bath, just unwind.

Perfect place for a small family. Well equipped and clean; almost too spacious. Excellent wifi with unlimited devices permitted. The resident cat host was super friendly and sat with us through dinner. The place is next to a small forest backing into a creek. We got lucky and a small bear paid visit one morning. Highly recommend for a family looking for a relax holiday.

A Gem Surrounded by Solitude.
We walked in and went”Wow!!” Open, airy, clean, spacious and uncluttered. For 20 years we have travelled all over the world in VRBOs and this one is in the top three. Large comfortable deck and twin fawns. What more could you want? Thank you, Jocelyn for your attentiveness and hospitality.

Beautiful, modern two-bedroom home with sensational forest views
This is a lovely, newly furnished, modern, two-bedroom home with a full complement of amenities (including air conditioning!). The forest views and peaceful solitude of the area were relaxing and rejuvenating, and the owner, who lives next door, was readily accessible had there had been any questions or problems. Although there aren't many specific points of interest in the immediate area, there is a trail across the street that goes through the forest, and Courtney, a town with shops and lots of things to see and do, is right down the road. We had a great stay (with a sweet visit every now and then from the friendly resident kitty) and would definitely stay there again.

The property is new and well done. Directions, with link for map was good Checkin and response of owner to a couple questions was great. Very friendly. Location is quiet at night (good).

We definitely enjoyed our stay, it is a gorgeous home, very well designed (stylish) and cozy at the same time. We missed having an iron or a steamer and a sponge for a quick dish washing but we got one, not a big deal! We had everything else that we needed for a nice stay. All high quality and clean areas. Super cute kitty greeting us from time to time when we were going back in the evenings! Highly recommend booking this place.

Lovely getaway in Merville
Jocelyn is a lovely host and we are so glad to have stayed at her property for our little getaway. The place was clean, modern, and cosy! I personally love the kitchen! Jocelyn is attentive and detailed oriented, providing information about the property and directions to the place. A nice surprise was their resident pet cat that welcomed us when we arrived. We hope to visit again soon!

This place is by far the best I have ever stayed at. Brand new and flawless construction. The best shower I have ever been in. Nothing but high end appliances. If you like to cook you will find almost everything in the kitchen. The induction oven was a new thing to me - if you rent this place note that the red-handled frying pan does not work on this oven. Loved the air fryer function. Tons of space. A really good smart TV, although it does not appear to have an HDMI outlet. A fantastic patio with nice furniture and two tables. Older BBQ but it works great. A nice feral black cat may come by to visit but seems to know not to go inside. I was happy to share a pork chop and a chicken breast with this little cutie. Property backs onto a forest and privacy is excellent. There is not much as far as a yard, as the place is new. I went to Saratoga beach 11 km away and enjoyed the outdoors there. A nice note will greet you by name when you arrive, along with a jar of honey. This place is flawless and highly recommended!

Peace, stillness and stars
Definitely a 5 star place! Great to look out at night and see the sky covered in stars. A nice (not too) rural location with woods on two sides and oh so quiet. Close to the ocean and forests and only a few kilometers from town. Jocelyn and Gion our hosts were super helpful and even gave us recommendations for local eateries and places to go. Definitely a place we can recommend and hope to go back to!!

Beautiful property
What a beautiful property for a relaxing stay! We enjoyed watching the deer and listening to them call from the balcony. The views of the forest from the living and kitchen are a wonderful way to start the day. Jocelyn and Gion are amazing hosts. They were easily available by phone and prompt. The accommodations felt very private and comfortable. We have already recommended this stay to others and will be staying again when we are in the valley.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr angenehm für uns, dass wir wussten, dass unsere Gastgeberin Jocelyn für uns erreichbar war. Das Haus ist neu und gut ausgestattet. Die Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir konnten uns gut selbstverpflegen. Die Möbel auf der Terasse waren neu und sehr bequem. Leider können wir das nicht für die Sitzgelegenheiten im Wohnbereich sagen, weil sie unbequem und abgewohnt waren. Die Unterkunft liegt verkehrsgünstig, so dass wir alle touristischen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen konnten. In der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf. Insgesamt können wir das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen und würden es wieder wählen.
