"Black Bear Lodge was an excellent choice for our group of 8, each requiring their own bed. Three bedrooms and a bunk room with 6 twins and a shared bathroom provided all the room we needed. The living area was spacious, with plenty of LR seating for our group to watch TV around the wood-burning fireplace. Kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. The outdoor hot tub offered a great view of the surrounding property and the daily visits by 10-12 deer, including 5 bucks. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would definitely be interested in a return stay with 2 or 3 other couples. "

"Wonderful property!! However, it is way in the back of the resort, which might be it's only weak point; it can take 12 to 15 minutes to get to the entrance of BB Ranch. That said, it is quite secluded with spacious surroundings. This home is graciously large and will easily accommodate a family reunion for four couples (4 bedrooms) and four kids (a fifth bedroom). We had seven adults and one baby... and a dog. You will not need to bring anything from your own kitchen; it's fully equipped! The garage is full of bicycles, swimming pool accessories, camping chairs, games, toys and a really nice ping pong table (which we had fun playing). There's even a free-standing basketball hoop. In addition, they have a very nice child carrier backpack; the owners really thought this through. I could say more, but my family kept telling me I could not have found a more perfect home. On a personal note, this visit was intended more as a fly-fishing trip to the Metolius River, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time at BB Ranch, and had a wonderful family dinner at the beautiful Lodge restaurant."

"The outdoor space at this property was great with lots of seating, a hot tub and propane fire. We mainly cooked in and the kitchen had everything we needed to make it easy. The house is in a great spot with easy biking distance to the meadow, lakeside pool and lodge restaurants. We loved everything about our stay just wish we could have stayed longer! Would love to return here."

"We had a wedding to attend at BBR and this listing was great for our group. My only complaints are the WiFi never connected to the internet and we never got the tv to work. I would still recommend this place and stay again. The amenities at the resort were lovely too!"
