"No lift so if you are carrying anything heavy be prepared to carry them upstairs. Staff was kind but basically they are only there from 10am to 3pm while theybclean the rooms that are getting vacant. After that you can only get service if you call or mqil them. Rooms get cleanead in a per visit basic so avoid long stays."

"Choose the grand double room which going by the images we were put in the standard room. Free Parking which was one of my key requirements turned out not to be free, but 15e per day. Wi-Fi password changed on the 2nd night without warning which was extremely frustrating as we needed it for planning and Netflix. Don’t know why they would do this. All in, quite unsatisfactory. "On Hotels.com there is no information that this place has a shared bathroom. It only states a shared kitchen which I find okay. Overall it is clean, but it strongly depends on who else is staying at this place."

"The location is extremely close to all beautiful attractions. Walking distance to malls and historical places; chocolate shops. The stairs are so sharp and our room was on 4 th floor. I made a booking almost 1 month ahead and I am almost 60 years old. I asked them to give us a lower level room. No availability. And the toilet was outside. Make sure you don’t get the 4 th level."

"I would love to come back to this hotel! Loved the room, it’s in a good location in the city to visit attractions. However the walls of the hotel are pretty thin so you can hear almost everything around you, that’s the only negative. Other than that i really enjoyed my stay!"

"The owner of the property is very nice, she keeps the place very clean and makes breakfast in the morning. Its also close to the train station, about a 3 to 5 minute walk. "

"The highlight of my stay here was the manager Martin. Martin was on beck and call, helping me with my every request. Martin even helped me get bubble wrap to safeguard my trinkets I bought while in Europe. The property is stunning and unique. The location is a close enough walk to the main city draws as well as some hidden neighbrohoods."

"It is worth the drive outside of Antwerp or Brussels. Very clean, classy, great food, great service. Owners are very kind and helpful. We ended up changing our travel plans and staying another night. "

"The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems."

"Perfect location for walking to the sights or catching public transit. Front desk staff was oriented and very kind and helpful. Despite food menu at the bar area I was told there is no food available (there is a nice cafe for breakfast) so drinks but no food to go with. Nice room - very well appointed with plenty of towels!! Great value for the money!!"

"We stayed at this hotel during a recent trip to Brussels. We picked it because it was close to the things that we were planning to do. It ended up being a little further away than we had anticipated, but still a walkable distance from the medieval city center and the entertainment district. The hotel is beautiful and situated right next to the city botanical Gardens. It is safe and the staff was so kind and welcoming to us. We had wonderful amenities. This hotel State was halfway through our two week trip and so we enjoyed having a nice restaurant and Access to services and concierge. We would definitely stay at another Hoxton property. "
