Hotels near Bjorkliden Station

"Nice propertyt, near the town supermarket. This is a must during one stays, specially when most restaurants close after the summer season. It is also very close to the lake side if you come to Abisko to catch a glimpse of the Nortern lights where you can just walk over and have one of the best viewing area. The staffs are superb and very helpful. I highly recommend and I will stay here again should I visit Abisko again."

"Great friendly hotel with a nice restaurant and good amenities. Not many options in the area anyways but a good spot for those chasing auroras or doing activities. The only downside are the transfers from Kiruna airport to hotel, you have to book your own and it’s limited what is available. No buses in autumn so had to take an incredibly expensive cab. That aside, had a small shop on site where you can rent or buy winter gear and buy snacks. Restaurant opens for breakfast lunch and dinner. Many hiking trails around and tour packages pick up from hotel which is convenient."

"The chalets were very comfortable, 2 separate rooms and decent sized single beds (some very tiny ones down in Abisko!). Sauna was wonderful! Views in the morning were stunning (we were second row from the front). Kitchen had what we needed and the food in Hotel Fjallet itself was delicious. On the down side, the numbers of the chalets were not marked particularly well and Reception couldn't book us a table for dinner, we had to go onto the website which was faffy but all good in the end.
