Villa Dorissimo, 25 km from the sea between Narbonne and Carcassonne

Quiet villa in a small village at the gates of Narbonne, near the Abbey of Fonfroide, 30 minutes from the Mediterranean, the Cathar castles, the city of Carcassonne, the African Reserve and Spain. You can rest or sail on the Canal du Midi, visit the Roman sites, swim in Gruissan with its chalets on stilts, saline, Narbonne Plage, Leucate country of the wind, and windsurfing on the ponds of Bages . You will taste the excellent A. O.C Corbières wines and Minervois wines, of the Clape that offer along the course, cooperative and particular cellars. In the evening you can enjoy a small meal by the pool in the conservatory. The village also has a pizzeria 'La Forge' and a gourmet restaurant 'La table du château', a grocery store and a bakery. Children will meet Caramel our pony and his girlfriend Hip our little goats and goats.
A ping pong table and bicycles are available.

Loved our stay in Bizanet. The hosts, especially Marie-Claude were delightful and could not have been more friendly and helpful. So many things to see in the surrounding area. We particularly liked the Abbé de Fontfroide with its lovely restaurant and wines. Carcassonne was great, les Halles in Narbonne well worth a visit, plus Gruisson and La Port Nouvelle. Le Somail on the Canal du Midi also lovely. So many places to visit. We used the excellent train service from Lezignan Corbieres for many of these trips - it was great.

Un séjour de rêve
Un séjour parfait! Le logement est très propre et spacieux, bien équipé et joliment décoré. Il permet de profiter pleinement de l’extérieur et la clim est un plus par forte chaleur. L’endroit est très calme et le petit village à proximité permet d’avoir le nécessaire à portée de main.L’accueil est à l’image des propriétaires : chaleureux et généreux. Marie-Claude et Alain ont vraiment tout fait pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible et ont parfaitement réussi. Ce sont deux personnes adorables et discrètes. La piscine et sa véranda sont des endroits très agréables et nous ont permis de passer de beaux moments. Nous gardons un merveilleux souvenir de cette semaine et reviendrons avec un grand plaisir.

Si on peut y retourner on y retournera
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce gîte très chaleureux dans un petit village aux couleurs du Sud. Marie-Claude et Alain sont des personnes géniales, ils nous ont accueillis comme si on était leur propre invités. Sincèrement il n'y a rien à redire juste pensez bien aux produits anti-moustique et avec ça vous serez bon.

Wir und unsere beiden Kinder haben uns im Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Der gepflegte Swimmingpool wurde von uns viel und gern genutzt. Auch die ca. 30 minütige Fahrt zu den Stränden war unproblematisch. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Wie kommen gerne wieder. Nous et nos deux enfants nous sommes sentis très bien dans la maison de vacances. Nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine bien entretenue. Même le trajet d'environ 30 minutes vers les plages n'a pas posé de problème. Les bailleurs étaient très gentils. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci beaucoup! :)

A slice of paradise
Myself and my family spent a wonderful 10 days in the company of Marie-Claude and Alain at their gite. From start to finish, they were the perfect hosts - waiting up for us as we arrived so late, bringing fresh jam and vegetables for us and having us along for some drinks by the pool one evening. Speaking of which, the pool is absolutely marvellous. It makes the difference in that, if you don't feel like heading out anywhere, a day by the pool makes you feel like you are still doing something. The gite itself is excellent. The air-conditioning is a wonderful addition, especially if, like me, you really suffer sometimes in the heat. Wherever we were, whatever we were doing, we knew that we had a cool oasis to go home to. The area is nice, with interesting places like Carcasonne (amazing medieval town), the abbey at Fontfroide and Narbonne all on your doorstep. Spain is less than an hour away. So to sum up, don't hesitate, book your stay now ! You will not be disappointed !!

Séjour des plus agréables et reposants
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Marie-Claude et Alain ! Leur accueil fut des plus chaleureux, généreux, discret. Nous étions très bien installés dans une maison fonctionnelle dont nous avons énormément apprécié le jardin ensoleillé et les multiples jeux pour les enfants que Marie-Claude et Alain ont mis généreusement à notre disposition, sans compter leurs nombreuses petites attentions qui nous ont beaucoup touchés. Nous avons pu profiter de la belle piscine. Encore merci, nous espérons revenir dans cette belle région que nous apprécions beaucoup !

Très agréable séjour
Gîte fonctionnel et bien adapté pour une famille ( piscine sécurisée, jardin et jeux d'enfants, chiens adorables,...) Les hotes sont très accueillants et disponibles. Village sympathique à 10mn de l abbaye de Frontfroide. Superette de produits locaux et boulangerie dans le village.

Wunderschön & herzlich! Très très beau & chalereux!
Wir hatten fantastische 2 Wochen bei sehr freundlichen, großzügigen und liebenswerten Vermietern (und ihren beiden sehr zutraulichen Hunden), die auf dem gleichen Grundstück in einem seperaten Haus wohnten. Im eigenen Gartenteil besteht eine sehr schöne Rückzugsmöglichkeit mit Terasse und genug Platz für gemütliche Grillabende oder Sonnenstunden auf der Liege. Bäckerei und Lebensmittelgeschäft sind fußläufig im hübschen, ruhigen Ort . Das Restaurant "la table" war leider geschlossen/(noch) nicht wieder eröffnet. Die Straße weiter hoch bieten sich tolle kleine Spazierwege durch Pininienhaine, Weinberge und abwechslungsreiche Felsen. Der perfekte Ort für Ausflüge und zum baden im Meer oder in Flüssen. Der tolle, saubere Pool ist immer "eine Bank" für ein paar Bahnen oder Abkühlung bzw. wenn es mal wieder ein wenig windet am Meer ;-). Unsere Tochter wollte nicht mehr weg und auch wir können uns dem nur anschließen!! 1000 Dank für eine tolle Zeit/Merci beaucoup pour des vacences formidable!

Było nam niezwykle miło spędzać czas w wynajętym domu. Wszystkie sprzęty właściwie funkcjonowały, wliczając w to również klimatyzację. Korzystaliśmy też z parasola w trakcie wyjazdów nad morze. Pani Bonnery dostarczała nam nieodpłatnie jajka z wybiegu i owoce, co było bardzo miłe. Polecamy również restaurację La Table du Chateau, ze wspaniałą kuchnią. No wina z Bizanet, a zwłaszcza Le Virtuose Rose 2019 AOP Corbieres.

Plus qu'un bon accueil , une vrai belle rencontre !
Très agréable séjour dans cette petite maison confortable et bien équipée, idéal pour une famille. Tout pour bien décompresser, petit jardin privé et coin véranda/ piscine bien sécurisé pour les enfants. Petite maison de bricolage, balancoires et divers jeux ont fait le bonheur de notre petite puce. Marie-Claude est une belle personne qui a pris soin de nous tous sans nous envahir. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances avec nos deux enfants au gîte de Marie-Claude. Le gîte est très bien équipé, très propre et fonctionnel avec son jardin clos dont nous avons profité avec plaisir! L espace piscine avec sa dépendance est très agréable et sécurisé. Notre hôte a été super avec nous, les enfants ont adoré partager des moments avec elle ! Une très belle rencontre !Vive les apéros avec Marie-Claude! Le gîte est idéalement situé pour visiter Narbonne et Carcassonne. Nous vous le recommandons ! Nous reviendrons c’est certain! La famille Bouteille

Des Hôtes au top !
2 semaines au calme, maison tout confort, belle piscine. Environnement magnifique :animaux, potager. Les enfants ont adoré ! Région splendide bcp de belles visites Belles plages à 25 min. Mais surtout des hôtes très attentionnés, de bon conseil, généreux et discrets. Une très belle rencontré ! Merci pour ces belles vacances !

Lovely well located and equipped gite with pool, fantastic hosts
Thank you so much Marie Claude and husband for a really wonderful 2 weeks with our boys. The gite is beautiful, well equipped and we really benefitted from the pool. Marie Claude's husband even provided us all with bikes! The boys adored all the animals (dogs, goats and ponies) and no food went to waste as they fed our vegetable scraps to the goats! We were greated with a vegetable box, wine and milk to get started and after being stuck in traffic and a little later than anticipated Marie Claude made us very welcome with drinks, ice creams and a chat. The local village has a boulangerie which is open every day for breakfast and the La Forge Pizzeria in walking distance does amazing pizzas - you may need to book, she's always busy! You definitely need to have a car but everything is within easy reach - beaches are a 30 minute drive - blue flag beaches at Valras Plage and there are lots of watersports opportunities close by including paddle boarding, kite surfing etc. We rented an electric boat from L'Auberge du Somail at Le Somail and spent a great 2 hours on the Canal du Midi. The medieval city of Carcassonne is a must, L'Abbaye du Fontfroide is on your doorstep, Lagrasse is very pretty with an abbey too, Pezenas is beautiful, check out the water jousting at Sete and we even ventured across the border to Spain to Monastir La Pere to Rodes and into Port de Selva and back up the coast to France. Girona isn't that much further, we just timed it wrong. Narbonne has lots of free events in Summer as do local villages. Thanks so much again Marie Claude, can't recommend enough.

Einfach alles war perfekt! - Tout était parfait!
Wir haben unseren dreiwöchigen Aufenthalt in der Villa Dorissimo sehr genossen - einfach alles war perfekt! Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und ideal für unsere Familie mit zwei Kindern (13+10). Der Pool (mit Poolhaus) war sehr gepflegt. Im großen Garten konnten wir immer Tischtennis und Boule spielen und uns an Gemüse und Obst bedienen. Es gab zudem Ponys, Ziegen, Hühner, und insbesondere der süße Hund war stets ein prima Spielkamerad für die Kinder. Bizanet ist ein typisch französisches Dorf (toller Bäcker!) abseits der Touristenströme, ideal gelegen für viele tolle Ausflüge (Narbonne, Perpignon, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Gouffre de Cabrespine, verschiedene Strände,...). Marie-Claude und Pierre sind wunderbare Gastgeber - vielen Dank für alles! Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour de trois semaines à la Villa Dorissimo - tout était parfait! Le gîte était très propre et idéal pour notre famille avec deux enfants (13 + 10). La piscine (avec pool house) était très bien entretenue. Dans le grand jardin, nous pouvions toujours jouer au ping-pong et à la pétanque, et nous pouvions nous servir des légumes et des fruits. Il y avait aussi des poneys, des chèvres, des poulets, et surtout le chien adorable était toujours un excellent compagnon de jeu pour les enfants. Bizanet est un village typiquement français (boulangerie formidable!) loin des foules de touristes, idéalement situé pour de nombreuses excursions (Narbonne, Perpignon, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Gouffre de Cabrespine, des plages diverses,...). Marie-Claude et Pierre sont des hôtes merveilleux - merci pour tout!

Nos vacances passées à Bizanet ont été excellentes. Le lieu est bien situé pour visiter les plages de Narbonne ainsi que les sites historiques de la région. Le gite est très propre et bien entretenu, les propriétaires sympathiques et chaleureux. La location est très recommandée.

vacances formidables
nous avons tout apprécier pendant nos vacances dans le gite de Marie Claude et Pierre ,des personnes généreuses aux petits soins pour nous ; le calme que l on recherchai dans le village de Bizanet nous a permis de vraiment nous reposer La région offre énormément de coins a visiter , les plages son a environ 20 minutes de route . La piscine très bien entretenue et très appréciable ! le gite es superbement équipé avec ou ce don on a besoin
