"Amazing room and hotel. Luxury room with a bathtub in was amazing. Staff friendly and hotel spotless. 5/5 would definitely stay again. One slight criticism but nothing much was the pillows were uncomfortable, could do with firm pillows. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"Lovely real ale country pub with rooms. Very rustic but with all home comforts and little extras. Great view over countryside with cows grazing nearby. Breakfast freshly cooked and generous portions. Used as overnight stay following wedding at Crowcombe court (5 mins walk) but also great for walkers etc exploring the Exmoor area. Highly recommend "

"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"Delightful inn with lovely views across the river and surrounding countryside. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room, although compact, had everything we needed with ample storage for a few days clothing, a comfortable bed and tea & coffee facilities. The ensuite had a good, but not spacious, shower, however, the window was clear glass without a blind and it did feel like you were a little exposed when using the bathroom. "A very nice and quaint area which I have never visited before. Lovely staff to accommodate my late arrival! Easy to use, and no problems at all with the facilities. Parking wasn't obvious at first glance, but despite parking on a hill, managed to find a spot of free parking opposite the pub."

"Nice comfortable room with adequate facilities in room. Not a lover of toilet brushes and the one in the bathroom was sitting in goodness knows what and noticed it as soon as entered the bathroom as the holder was clear - not nice. No tv remote in room and to be fair we didn’t request one during the stay as we got back late and didn’t notice until ready for bed and would have had to walk into the bar area! "

"Super friendly welcome and room was fine for us - we stayed after a wedding so werent even there that long! room was clean and shower was hot, breakfast was lovely and served by a super helpful and friendly housekeeper. "

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...
