"The air conditioning (AC) were not working at all, they were in a poor condition which once you switch off it does not start again. The hotel was out of hot water for the 48 hours. They said it’s a national problem. I gave my cloths for landury they have charged me 2600 for a few cloths which was not mentioned on thier description that laundry is out of pocket fee. "The location of the hotel is great as you can walk to all major attractions. Its kind of hotel inside of the hotel, taking the 5th floor of the building. Rooms are quite nice but was not able to find any English tv channels on tv except BBC. Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing and they did not have proper coffee, just instant coffee. Staff is very helpful and everyone speak English. There are no normal hotel services like restaurant etc so you cannot get ice etc from room service, on the other...

"Really nice hotel, big rooms, very cheap in the low season so I can’t complain too much. However, there’s a bar next door with loud music during the night. Fortunately I had ear plugs, but I know many people dont like to use them. If you are a light sleeper I’m sure you can let them know before you get there. The staff is very nice and speaks English, specially the girl from the front desk. "

"Stayed at this hotel during 26th August and 2nd September 2024 to attend my nephew's wedding. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful and they happily go the extra mile without the expectation of a tip. The hotel itself is situated next to Victory Square and other key visiting sights are walkable or a short taxi ride away. (BTW taxis are relatively cheap - can travel 5 or so miles for £3-4). I found the hotel clean with reasonably good facilities - enjoyed the free access to the outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and the jacuzzi after a day of shopping or sight seeing. One particular useful feature in my room was the "Jack & Jill" wardrobe - can get access from both the bathroom and from the room - so no need to take clothes to wear to the bathroom. "We stayed 1 night at this hotel in May 2024. The Plaza Hotel Bishkek was a good place to stay in Bishkek. It’s directly across from a soccer stadium and also across from a major park. There are many restaurants within walking distance. City center and government buildings are all nearby."
