"Nice quiet stay on the island. The house however is pretty outdated, equipment is outdated, furniture and appliances as well and not properly functioning. Area around the pool is very slippery, so pretty dangerous for children. For the price, I expected a bit more in this respect. However, the location was so relaxing and beautiful that the overall stay was still pleasant and relaxing to me. Gregory was also very helpful and kind. "

"Excellent layout and amenities. Great location. Was not on the beach but a 10 min walk. The beds were firm, pillows a little too hard, could have used more bath towels. Only comforter was in queen room. Didnt have a dryer but did have a washer. Would have liked a blowdryer and a coffee pot or a french press. LOVED the veranda and the view. It was well equipped. Was hard to get a hold of property management and find the actual property but we had all the tools to stay in and cook and clean up....

"In my opinion this place is way better than a resort! Patrick and Willeke are such wonderful people and I love how clean and presentable the mini houses are. They do give you the Curacao experience. Being from the Caribbean, this place felt like home. Please continue to support them by booking with them!"

"The house itself is great, a little rundown, and in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance (4 out of 6 lights were out in one of the bathrooms). The amenities list a pool or pool access at a neighboring property, it was simply just crossed out in the guide, and we had no pool access. The washer didn’t work, and noone communicated back with us on whether it got fixed after we brought it to their attention. The TV provider hadn’t been paid, so the TV didn’t work. "First of all, although the Jan Thiel area overall is nicer, as a resort Blue Bay is great. It’s nice, safe and close to town. The check in experience was the worst: they weren’t expecting us (even though their own print out said check in on the 16th, they had written 17 on the paper). The property manager was quickly cleaning the unit (it wasn’t dirty but maybe not used for a little while). Worst of all they then told us that at the mid point of our stay we would have to move as somebody else...

"We had an amazing stay at Ba-ooo! The ocean views were awesome! It was great waking up to the view and lots of birds visiting. The location couldn’t be beat to tour the west side of the island. However the best snorkeling was just off the property and to the left towards Cas Abou. Don and Angie were great. We’d definitely stay here again. "

"Of all the places I stayed over many many years of travel this cottage is the most beautiful, the most serene, the most private. You know that scene at the end of Ocean’s Eleven where the crew is gazing at the fountain outside of the Bellagio and they’re just collectively exhaling and being in the moment? This place is a lot like that, but with a Caribbean backdrop instead of Vegas. Visit it; cook, drink a little too much, get a sunburn, snorkel with the fishies. It might just be the best time...
