"I took my mom to Austria, close to where the Romy Schneider Sissi movies were filmed. Hintersee was perfectly located, literally at the end of the road! It is perfect for people wanting to experience Austria in all its glory. And who love to immerse themselves in the local community. The owner Margrit was lovely and thanks to her translation app, she was able to guide us for a fantastic stay, The property is close to hundreds of hiking trails, glacial lakes and beautiful villages. She even had two slices of apple cake and fresh eggs from her family’s property in our refrigerator when we arrived.
