"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. We enjoyed our moments together...their stories and hospitality !!"

"We stayed in this beautiful house with three families. The swimming pool was amazing. The house was of high quality and was very clean. It easily fitted our 12 people group which included 6 adults and 6 children. Toni the host was very responsive and was kind enough to arrange a pack and play for our little one and also to help us with receiving documents and our lost luggage. The environment is very relaxing and beautiful and close enough to Bilbao, several beaches and also a number of historic...

"This was a perfect home for our group of 6 (2 young children, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents) tucked away in the hills. It was conveniently located for day trips in the surrounding area. We spent wonderful afternoons lounging in the yard reading and watching the horses graze in the pasture right below us. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, and pleasant rooms for relaxing and visiting. The drive up the narrow road leading to the home seemed surreal. Couldn’t recommend the place more."

"Okana is een prettige woning. Goede bedden, fijne badkamers en heel veel ruimte. Tuin en bossen rondom de woning zijn prachtig. Alleen de houtzagerij die in de buurt ligt geeft van s'morgens vroeg tot s’avonds laat geluid. Daar heb je binnen in de woning geen last van, maar wel buiten op het terras. Ook hoor je iedere stap van de bovenburen vanwege de houten vloeren. Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk ."
