As the title says, there was nothing superior about this hotel. It’s seen better days. The building is NOT accessible for disabled people. The interior is quite depressing and extremely dated, there’s fittings that look original from the 80s/90s. The furniture is an odd mix of secondhand stuff. We had 5 beds over 2 bunk beds crammed into one room with a full size fridge freezer(??) and a microwave that’s seen better days. There’s no phone signal and the WiFi only works in the lobby. The whole vibe is slum landlord/halfway house. It seems to be the kind of place the home office dumps asylum seekers in (not a criticism of asylum seekers! They deserve better than this too!). We also had a power cut and had to change rooms, so we cut our stay from 2 nights to 1. The staff on duty were very nice and trying their best, but it was clear the owners aren’t interested. The sheets were clean, the towels too but we didn’t want to use the bathing facilities. If you’re needing a cheap room last minute, it’s better than nothing.
