Newly renovated historic loft in downtown Birmingham

The Historic Bon Ton Hatter’s Building is on Birmingham’s main street in the heart of the city center and has been renovated recently. This spacious loft is approximately 1200 square feet and is conveniently located within walking distance or a short cab ride from dozens of restaurants, bars, theaters, Museums, art galleries, parks, concert halls, Top Golf, the new sports arena, the University of Alabama Birmingham, UAB Hospital and shopping. There is a full kitchen and comfortable living room with a raised seating area over-looking busy Twentieth Street. The central heating and air system and all the appliances are brand new. Hardwood floors that run throughout the space and the 13-foot ceilings provide a true loft experience. Giant 10-foot windows give stellar views of Birmingham’s beautiful historic buildings and skyline. If unavailable, there is a 3rd floor loft as well.

Items to note:
1. Cats or dogs are welcome, but there is a non-refundable $125 deposit per pet (only 2 allowed). There will be additional fees if there are issues.

2. A parking space for one vehicle is included in the nightly fee, but additional spaces are $10/night (this is what the owner of the lot charges us).

3. Ask us about discounts for staying longer than a week or a month!

4. This full floor condo is a walk-up unit, there is no elevator.

The property was clean, easy and relaxing. The common space was lovely and we appreciated the Roku so we could watch a movie our first night. Very convenient to the sights we wanted to visit and the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

Bustle of Birmingham
Staying downtown is a delight. There are lots of things to see and do. Alabama Peanut Co, McWayne Center 3D theater and Reed Books for anyone wanting a good read and an delightful conversation- to name a few. This property also offers good dining with in 1-2 blocks right out side the door. With the convenience of parking around the corner its enjoyable to get into the bustle of Birmingham.

We were only here for a short time, and wished we would have more time exploring the surrounding area. What we did encounter was a very well kept condo that provided us with all we needed. My favorite part was sitting in the balcony overlooking the street below.

This was a great location. We were able to walk to dinner both nights. We walked to our concert at the Legacy Arena very easily. El Barrio Mexican was really good. Rooftop bar is also a place we always visit in town. We will be back!

Great Downtown Birmingham Location
First time In Birmingham and this property is in the perfect location to explore the culture, history, nightlife and attractions of the town. Full floor loft to ourselves. Historic building w modern upgrades add convenience to the charm. Joey is a great host and communicator. Won’t hesitate to recommend this property and/or stay here again.

Loft in Downtown Birmingham
Perfect location for what we needed. Parking was close and convenient, check in was easy and the Loft was large for 2 adults. Enjoyed having a full kitchen and washer/dryer available. Only downside was that downtown was largely deserted on Sunday. Had to drive a bit to find things to do. Really enjoyed this space and I’d recommend it if you are looking for something downtown with character.

So Happy We Found This Place
This loft is so comfortable, from the leather sofas to the nice beds. It was also very clean, which is important to me. Both BRs had spacious closets and the MBR closet was the coolest ever, the former elevator for the building. The owner responded promptly to any questions and was very nice to deal with. We will be back!
