ONLY 2 MILES TO NEW BREWERY, WINERY, DISTILLERY & LAKE ENTRANCE. Remodeled Log Cabin with luxury pillows, sheets, towels. Use our State Park pass to save $7 dollars a day. Our wooded park like property is next to a creek where deer & wildlife live. Enjoy the screened in front porch or the back deck that opens into the woods with a perfect layout including 14 foot swimspa, fire pit & propane grill. Downstairs Master bedroom. Matching queen beds in loft bedroom upstairs, electric fireplace, AC/heat, complete kitchen items, new luxury grill with stovetop burners, 50 inch Smart TV with Bluetooth sound bar, High Speed internet, DIRECTV. Cell phones work great. 2 fire pits in a quiet wooded setting. NO BOATS/TRAILERS. Boat parking near by.

When using Hot tub/ Swim spa , Remember there are certain health risk associated with using any hot tub spa. The water temperature should never be over 104°. Do not drink alcohol or take medication without consulting a doctor in advance. Pregnant women should never use a hot tub. Youth under 16 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Pets are never permitted in the hot tub water. Please shower before and after hot tub usage to avoid skin irritation, outdoor shower provided. Also do not wear any oil’s or Lotions, bug repellent in hot tub water. Always make sure your feet are clean and leaves and debris stay out of the water. Do not sit or stand on hot tub covers or mounted wooded bar along the length of the swim spa. Covers are NOT designed to support a person or persons as they will break and you will be charged for replacement. Please keep spa covers on the spa when not in use to keep the spa hot. The spa water condition is checked before and after guest arrival and departure. Upon check-in if you notice anything wrong with the spa please contact the hostess or host immediately . Your cooperation is much appreciated. Each person using the hot tub will need to sign a waiver agreeing to these conditions and releasing the homeowner of any liability before using the hot tub spa. We would like to point out this region of Indiana has hills. Even the Patoka Lake boat launches are mostly on hills. The State of Indiana Police patrols the State and County Roads and enforces the speed limit. If you are planning to bring a boat please let us know in advance for the best experience. The Shaded Woods Log Cabin is on a private road which does not have any cross traffic. It is a very rural quiet setting. Most all the Log Cabins‘s on the private road are second homes. We hope you make our Log Cabin your Log Cabin on a regular basis.

Beautiful Cabin in a Beautiful Place
The cabin was cozy and warm, great for a weekend getaway for our family. It was truly wonderful to sit in the hot tub and listen to the wind through the trees.

Great place!
I had a professional conference in French Lick and stayed in the cabin for an extended weekend from Thursday through Sunday. What a great place! The cabin is conveniently located near French Lick. It is very peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near Lake Patoka and French Lick. The property managers are very good to work with. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway
This place is great for a lake getaway. It is secluded and very well maintained. Close to the state park, Patoka lake winery and only about twenty minutes from French Lick. We encountered a small miscommunication with the owner that he resolved immediately and satisfactorily as he is very involved in making sure each guest has an excellent time at his place.

Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Quiet location on a one-lane gravel road through the woods that was perfect for walking our dog. We saw deer on our walks each day. Several other cabins are within view, but the woods between each one provides some seclusion. The small cabin was a perfect size for our party of two and a dog. Cute decor inside, and the front and back outdoor spaces are awesome. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was beyond our expectations! The owners were one step ahead of our wants or needs. Morning tea on the front screened in porch and dinner on the back porch watching the children swim. It was absolutely beautiful.

Great cabin with amazing hot tub
Our family really enjoyed this cabin! It was cozy and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We made a fire every night in the fire pit with all of the wood that was provided and enjoyed the large hot tub that easily accommodated the five of us. We mainly went on hikes and especially enjoyed Hemlock Cliffs with all the caves and waterfalls. French Lick is just twenty minutes away so there was plenty of places to eat and activities to do.

Incredible stay and service!
What a wonderful trip! From the cabin to the swim spa to the location, everything was just perfect! The property manager, Jason, was especially helpful and accommodating. I cannot imagine how anything could have been better. Our children loved the loft area and everything about the location, and our dog would definitely agree. My husband and I appreciated that everything had been selected with kindness and love: nothing was missed nor shortchanged in this place! Thanks again for an incredible stay and such incredible service. We would love to return in the future.

It was so relaxing
Our trip was so relaxing, the area the cabin is located is very quiet and peaceful. Deer and squirrel right in the back yard. We stayed during New Years and honestly it was a wonderful time. The winery is a must and Kelley’s was a nice place to stop to grab a quick bite to eat. Crystal was wonderful and very quick to respond. 10/10 would visit again.
