"Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away! Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as it was along corridor to room (3rd floor). Room was also quite dark but think that was a “theme” Went to restaurant for dinner and staff were excellent and food was really good but was overpriced for what it was. See photo (£26) Warning, again dark theme and menu was extremely difficult to read, even waiting staff struggled! "

"Sheffield City Centre has lots to see and do, and Hotel Leonardo is perfectly located for exploring! Staff was super friendly and the whole place is clean and comfortable. Recommended!"

"We had a lovely overnight stay and booked spa treatments. The outdoor pool is wonderful and the indoor spa facilities are excellent. Great breakfast. Buxton is quiet but that suited us. Great Thai restaurant round the corner too. "

"We stayed for one night in a double room. The rooms were clean and fine, a little older in the decor. But the patio doors to the balcony were labelled out of order and a breeze could be felt through the seal. When raised with reception they were brilliant, checked other rooms and moved us to one which didnt have the sign on the door. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to accommodate us. We had dinner there and this was really good."
