"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...

"What a lovely place. Set in quiet village right next to Dunham Massey and Tatton Park which we visited. The breakfasts are excellent and thoroughly recommended - you will not need lunch !The hosts Janice and David were very friendly and welcoming . Those guests of a certain vintage may recognise the original Silver Fox , David , as he was a Snooker champion. "Ideally situated for public transportation into city centre. Numerous eateries situated within foot. No food available. Rather run down and seedy. Limited reception staff hours. Close to children’s nursery. Security an issue."
