"Check-in simple/professionnal, but not warm neither smiling. Room are small but very clean. Small building so we felt like family hotel. Reception at the spa is the same: quick explanations, we had the impression to catch a train instead of being welcomed to a wellness spa (a smile with a sweet voice would be a plus for the 500€ we spent during 1day+1night, even during rush hours). The Yonaguni spa itself is amazing Restaurant staff was friendly and efficient. "

Very quiet at night and in the middle of the wine tours. Located between Strasbourg and Colmar, a en a few miles from these beautiful Alsacian villages. "

"Didn't expect the room to be so clean, spacious, and newly renovated given the historical building, but you have the best of both worlds. Great value for money. Stayed here as hotels so expensive in Strasbourg so rented a car and fit in a day of seeing some of the smaller towns on a day trip to Colmar. Beautiful! Staff were great, too. "

"tolles Hotel in wunderschöner Lage im Elsass, von hier aus sind tolle Ausflüge in alle Richtungen möglich. Wir hatten ein schönes, ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick in die Rheinebene und mit modernem Bad. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. "We picked this house for a family reunion and to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We couldn't have chosen anything better. The house itself is lovely with 5 good bedrooms, a spacious dining room and plenty of outside seating on the terrace. The best feature though is the garden, secure for kids and the family dog and absolutely massive. As per description the kitchen is small, but in combination with the conservatory it worked fine. Hopefully we can return at some point in the future."

"Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "

"We spent a fabulous week in this small but well appointed cabin - 2 adults and 2 kids (13 and 10). We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. Nicole is a lovely host and the welcome gift of local sweet bread was wonderful. Thank you"
