"This is a beautiful property and our host was great. It is set in beautiful gardens which I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. My main criteria when choosing somewhere to stay is easy parking and a walk in shower. Only issue was that I’d requested a room with a shower as I find a bathtub difficult. There was one on the website in the house but it must have been allocated, so we were given the delightful gite in the garden. Unfortunately the upstairs bathroom has a wonderful shower,...

"Dave & Allison fabulous hosts, a charming environment, with great history preserved. Highly recommend dinner each night for an incredible 5 course meal by an award winning Chef, aka Dave! While the farm only a mile from St Mire Eglise, not great restaurants and dining at the farm 👍. "

"The owner, Chantal and her husband where very accommodating. Although she had no record of our booking there was no issue and she gave us a really nice room with en suite. La Feuillie is a lovely area in the bocage, about 6km from Periers. Breakfast was very nice too, each day we had baguette , brioche, home made cake and 6-7 various jams, all home made. We were made very welcome and I would return."
