Our family stayed here for the last week. A few issues at first, but were taken care of swiftly. The townhouse is nice for a family of 4. Its exactly as described, beds comfy, AC works great,, and is stocked with essentials.. The manager, Andre, was fast to tackle any issues, and for this he should be given a 10!!
A couple of suggestions....The house needs some lamps. Ceiling fan lights are the only lights in the Family room and bedrooms. Its either dark, or bright. Also, this townhouse is directly in front of a 24/7 365 days a year train track which is VERY loud and if your not use to the noise at night, you will be woken up a couple times in the middle of the night. (We honestly believe the train horn went off longer and more more often depending on the engineer and why its even blowing off at all hours of the night is just straight up messed up. So many cities we travel through have rules stating they can't run through towns in the mide of the night blasting their horns for long periods of time. I'd definitely look into this with CSX Railroad). The back gate needs a key for guest to access ( Id just make it part of the check out list to relock it and return key to the guest book) for an emergency exit, since the front door is the only other exit and maybe put escape ladders under beds upstairs if guests needed to escape out window. (Its a nice safety reassurance if needing to get out fast upstairs.)
Lastly, Fire the current cleaning company. Now with that being said, don't believe this place is dirty and all. The Manager can't be responsible for what they don't clean and The only way he knows isi f we, the customer, tell him. I'm not saying this to blast him or the cleanliness of the place, but to praise the manager in his swiftness on fixing the issue and putting us first. It was Thanksgiving week, and just the fact he responded so fast shows he cares greatly for his customers. We were so appreciative and grateful of him.
The properties local manager lives on site, I would avoid her as she is a "by the book rule keeper", and will bug the Owner/manager for anything and everything, big or small you do wrong.. We had all our stuff in a semi, and she even had issues with us driving it there just to unload it..( Signs at gate do say boats, trailers or campers are not allowed to park on any of theproperty. Even outside the gate in the massive empty lot. She will call and tow it. Would Rent Again Tho.
