It is so spacious and comfortable - almost all the rooms are en suite, there are big rooms for all to gather to eat or play games or socialize, as well as spaces for folks to have quiet time. "Foxes larder is a very comfortable cottage - very quirky with an eclectic mix of old cutlery and crockery etc - very country - definitely not for people that need things to be clinically clean as it’s on a farm with geese, ducks and chickens outside the front door but that’s all part of the charm …. "First impressions of the property was that it was lovely and warm, well appointed, nice decor and very comfortable beds. Due to horrific traffic we arrived considerably later than hoped, Chris and Freya were very accommodating. The kitchen was perfect for self catering, the log burner a treat and loads of hot water, perfect for a soak in the bath after a long days walking in the moor. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay. "It’s a beautiful location with views down the little valley and entertaining ducks to watch, enjoying their swim. Chris is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The cottage itself is well kitted out, comfy with a wood burner. Perfect countryside getaway for some nature and peace and quiet!"
