Large lakefront home for family ski retreat
We loved the large home, floor plan and beautiful location. It was great for the kids and lots of areas to gather. The manager was great to bring a few kitchen necessities that were missing . For the price, I expected the home to be updated; yet, it did meet our needs and we had a wonderful vacation.

Deferred Maintenance Masterpiece! I would not rent again.
This house is relatively large and has good potential, but the current status and cleanliness would prevent us from renting again.
Positive - Great location and the views are amazing. Sunsets over the mountain are epic. Also enjoyed the classic coin-op video games.
Negatives -
I wish they would let me share pictures.
1. Balcony is relatively unsafe. You can wiggle the wood railing 3-4 inches - likely unsafe to lean upon. Some of the deck furniture is also broken and you will topple over if you sit on it. Beware.
2. Extremely Unclean - This place just feels dirty the second you walk in. The massive stains on the carpet and our black feet from walking around with our shoes off became a real turnoff. The entire place has some much deferred maintenance it really shows and it makes you question what the cleaning fee is for. I got into the spa only to see a black ring of smudge at the waterline (they said it had been cleaned thoroughly). I got out and took a shower. The screens in the kitchen were so dirty that you couldn't even see through them. We took them off and cleaned them ourselves so we didn't miss the sunset. Even the pool table has huge stains on it. It really made us question if we should even be sitting on the couches.
3. Lot of little things are broken. Very annoying things like the crank on the window that lets fresh air in the master bathroom is missing. Many of the tubs and sinks have cracks or have been worn down to the metal because of who knows what. French door screens that keep the bugs out are ripped and basically make you close the doors because it will just let the bug inside. Even the Cuisinart is missing the top so it is useless. Even one of the beds has a slant to it - I think the frame broke at some point.
4. Yard - We rented during the summer (no snow) but the backyard was basically useless. Just dirt and weeds it really takes away from the view. When the kids started to play, they found trash and cigarette butts scattered around the backyard. The front yard is basically the same (without the cigarette butts).
In general this place just feels very tired and probably has had a very hard life. Kind of depressing when you see all of the rotting deferred maintenance and what a premium house it could be.
