A gorgeous and private cabin in Big Bear, nestled amongst fragrant pine trees and oozing with charm and character. The interior is flourishing with floor-to-ceiling windows, a stone finished fireplace, and cozy furnishings in the living area where you can settle in for a movie night. After a day on slopes, fire up the grill for an après-ski feast, pop open a bottle of bubbly by the hot tub, or bring the fun indoors for a game of pool with your crew!

Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback ride, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation.

Home Truths:
- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This home can accommodate 14 people but a maximum of 10 adults.
- Use of outdoor spas and other outdoor activities are prohibited from 10pm - 7am.
- No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time.
- Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property.
- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Hikers Get Away
Beautiful home in lovely neighborhood. Easy access to many trails. Many gathering places inside and outside the house to eat and socialize . Areas for improvement- outside of the house was unclean - empty beer bottles, cigarette butts, plastic shot glasses scattered about. Kitchen needed a run to the Dollar Tree for dish towels, pot holders, measuring cups and spoons. Insufficient forks and spoons for a group of 8+. Overall we had a great time!

Perfect get away cabin
Stayed at this cabin with my family and it is absolutely gorgeous! Lots of space and the windows view in the morning is phenomenal. Check in and out was a breeze. Definitely would come back here again!

Nice stay
Stayed here with a group of friends. Great location and nice big space to accommodate us. Nice patios and comfy couch. The ac didn’t work so it was hot during the day in the summer and for sleeping. We were unaware of an ant issue and left closed food container on the counter overnight that we had to throw out in the morning. Check in process was slightly inconvenient as the office closed at 6pm which didn’t give us a big enough window to make it there on time after traveling. It is close to the lake, hikes and Vons. Overall we enjoyed our time!

Great Abode in the Mountains
The house was the perfect size for a group of 10 (3 families including 4 young kids). The master bedroom was huge, and the kids’ room with two separate bunk beds was a ton of fun. There are a lot of spaces and features we fully utilized - the kitchen bar, the living room bar counter, the massive front balcony for pics, the pool table for family reunion banter. The location is incredibly convenient - groceries/pharmacies/fast food/restaurants/gear shops were all less than 5 min drive away. The neighbourhood is also really pretty and makes for a pleasant walk. My kids want to return ASAP, so those little bosses will be back to stake their bunks again in 2022.

Beautiful location, great size cabin
Everyone in our group loved the cabin. It is a great size for a larger group. It is in a lovely neighborhood and the view out of the giant living room windows is absolutely amazing! The kitchen was stocked well with cooking needs. Small improvements that could be made: A fan is needed in the bunk room as it gets stuffy, I can imagine the more people you put in there, the stuffier it gets. The shower in the bunk room bathroom had no water pressure, it was very hard to rinse off. More towels & washclothes & a rug for each of the bath tub or shower when you get out. The windows were all filthy & there was a giant cobweb with tons of flies stuck in it in one of the large living room windows. Some throw blankets in the living room would make it much more cozy. A lot of the baseboards were dusty also. It's those finishing touches that make the house over the top amazing!
