Want to get away to the fresh mountain air. Our place is the place to get away from it all. Welcome to the Varsano Villa.

Two story cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1½ baths with easy access is located within a short distance to all activities with comfortable room for up to eight people!

The outdoor amenities of the rental house feature a covered porch with a wrap around wood deck. A private outdoor spa with therapeutic jets highlight the rear patio area. Enjoy the beautiful forest views while eating on the large outdoor dining table. A gas BBQ is provided for your outdoor cooking needs.

The living room has a large stone fireplace you will enjoy as you watch the smart TV that includes Amazon Fire TV Apps. The home also has hi-speed fiber to premises internet service (wifi), a DVD Player, a VCR, CD player with a stereo system.

The full kitchen and dining area are equipped with a large refrigerator, gas range/oven, microwave, cookware, utensils, and serving ware.

The upstairs bedrooms share an adjoining bath. The master bedroom is warm and comfortable with a king-size bed. The second bedroom sleeps 4 with one comfy queen bed and a set of bunk beds.

The living room provides an optional third sleeping area with a convertible double sofa bed.

Excellent Vacation Home
This was our second stay at this home. We again had a excellent stay and found the home to be well kept and everything (TV, appliances, etc) to be in excellent working order! We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Big Bear.

Big Bear Birthday Trip
Well....I’ll start with positives. The location of the cabin was really nice. It’s in a nice neighborhood. The spa was also nice. Didn’t use the fireplace but if you do, the owner leaves some wood there but asks that you leave $20 for using it. The kitchen, while actually being decent sized, has very, very little counter space. We also had issues with ants. Pretty disappointed with the actual cabin itself. Very dated and kind of dirty. You also have to drive to the other side of town to dump your own trash or there is an additional charge. I’m sure Big Bear vacation rentals are quite frequent and I think if someone invested a few thousand, along with some TLC, it has the potential to be a really great place because of its location. With some better furnishings, modern televisions in both bedrooms and a trip to Sams Club or Costco for some upgraded kitchen accessories.....definitely would enhance. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as though anyone really attempts to update/upgrade the place. Probably really mostly on its location for rentals. It wasn’t a ‘bad’ stay.....just a little disappointed. I enjoy going to Big Bear occasionally but I will try a different place on my next trip, unless I read some positive reviews and some updates in the pictures.

Highly recommend this cabin!
My fiance, dog, and a few friends and I stayed in the Varsano Villa this past weekend, and we had a great stay. We came up from San Diego, and the directions the owner gave me were accurate and the cabin was easy to find, especially for us who have never been to Big Bear before at all. It was just as nice-looking, if not cuter, than the photos online showed. The owner was helpful in answering my questions before we left, as well. When we arrived (about 11:30PM on Friday night since we all had to work a full day), the heat was on, along with the hot tub and a few lights. The driveway was well-shoveled, and getting the key and entering the cabin was really easy. The whole cabin was really well-equipped with cookware and linens, and the owner stocked it with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee filters; everything we needed. Plus we were left a goody basket and bottle of wine! Very nice. The cabin was very well-maintained and clean. We had 7 people, and we were all very comfortable in our beds. The hot tub was great and stayed warm despite the below-freezing weather. We had one fun day skiing at Snow Summit, and spent the other cooped up in the cabin enjoying hot cocoa by the fire. We used the DirecTV to watch football on Sunday, and the wifi worked well. Just a side note, we had to reset the modem, so if the internet doesn't work for you right away, this might be the issue, and it was a quick fix. The trash site was very easy to get to (about 5 minutes away), and Snow Summit was also close, less than 10 minutes. It was less than a mile to the lake, and two of my (marathon-running) friends got to run along the lake on Sunday. They said it was one of the most beautiful runs they've ever had. The only (very small) criticism we had is that the door from the kitchen leading outside was not as well-insulated as the other doors in the house. But the thermostat worked well, and the heater easily heated the entire cabin thoroughly. My friends and I had such a great time that we want to make a yearly Big Bear trip, and if possible rent this same cabin. We highly recommend the Varsano Villa!

We chose this location for its location and for the jacuzzi and the jacuzzi didn’t work i was told to just flip the breaker but that didn’t help jacuzzi never worked

Beautiful Views
We had an amazing stay BUT it is all about prospective. The deck and views out back are spectacular. We enjoyed the jacuzzi daily and there was a family of foxes what were playing daily in the back. We called it our nature show. The master bedroom bed was comfortable and the linens were cleaned. They had HBO, prime and Netflix so we watched a fun movie on a really great swivel television. The pullout soda bed was comfortable and all coaches in the living room were super comfy. That said there were several things that need attention: 1. The bathroom floors were cleaned with oil and required me cleaning them because they were so slippery. 2. The smoke detector and co2 were taking turns beeping and needed a battery change, housekeeping should have done this. 3. The shower curtain was moldy and torn. 4. The refrigerator was broken and did not keep the food at the legally required temp. We had to rotate icepacks in to keep food cold. 5. The bunkbed is not usable. It is so wobbly it is dangerous. 6. You can't use the coffee maker and the microwave at the same time or you'll blow a fuse. 7. The outdoor wood chairs were wobbly but there were plastic ones. 8. Propane tanks were empty and bbq not working. Honestly we had a blast but we are easy, go with he flow people.

Varsano Cabin
First off the pictures are exactly what you seen when you arrive to the property, no misleads at all. The owners were beyond accommodating for us, our flight home got cancelled, a quick phone call and we had the cabin for the duration until our flight left. The property was perfect, clean, and well kept. Keep in mind its an older place so it's dated inside but it all works (the fireplace was perfect). Not to mention you are in Big Bear, and really should be outside seeing the natural beauty of the area. Again the booking was exactly as described, and we will absolutely go to this cabin again annually.

Hidden gem
Cozy cabin surrounded by the beautiful San Bernardino woods. Not enough words to describe the experience and beautiful views. Waking up in the morning to those views was mind blowing. The hot tub is definitely a plus. Will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to the Varsano family for allowing us to stay at your cabin! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful getaway
We had a wonderful time in your charming house visiting with our adult sons and nephews for this quiet getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting around the kitchen table cooking, eating and playing dominoes into the night. The shower was great, the beds were comfortable, and we would stay again and recommend this place to anyone. The neighborhood is lovely and we took in a kayak on Big Bear lake and enjoyed the town.

My BFF and I needed to get away to relax and drink wine. Perfect spot to do that in the middle of the woods, sitting in the hot tub. Highly recommend the villa in big bear!

Property is a bit worn down deck can use a touch of paint it looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks, there is also a problem with ants all over the kitchen specially in sink area and stove. Picnic table out in the deck needs to be sanded down and varnish.

So much fun!!
This place was exactly what my family and I needed! It looked exactly they way it did in the photos so no surprises there. We did not have to travel anywhere to have a good time playing in the snow the back yard was perfect we went sledding and the kids had a blast there was tons of space. We loved everything about this place. The communication with the owner was fast and any questions we had were answered right away. The kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking essentials we needed.Definitely would go back again!

Comfy cabin on a quiet street
We had a great time exploring the lake and trails and then being able to rest comfortably at The Varsano Villa. The neighborhood is quiet, and the hot tub was exactly what we needing to wind down each night.

Awesome hot tub! Very cute neighborhood. Nearby shopping. Bring extra towels. There is no washer and dryer. The kitchen well stocked. We were able to bake a cake even though we forgot our cake pans. We are very happy with our choice of stay.

We came when it was dark but once we got in we were all so tired. The place was cozy when we came inside. The King bed was so uncomfortable for me everytime my husband moved it disturbed me. The curtains were so dirty inside as was the cupboards which were greasy ouside dirty inside. The microwave plate had food stuck on it. The sofa by the front door had a hole and a black marker stain and some kind of liquid stain. The sofa could be covered with a removeable sofa cover. We didn't get to use the Jacquzzi. Other than what I mentioned our stay was great. I forgot something everything was so dusty like a cleaning rag hadn't touched anything in 6 to 12 months. When I showered I hung my towel over the shower bar. I took it down to dry my mouth after I brushed my teeth there was a black mark that was also obviously dirty as well. All 4 of us have extremely bad allergies so it was a litttle rough. If it would be updated and cleaned I would stay again.
