They even brought us traditional Alsatian holiday cookies and gave many recommendations for Selestat and the surrounding villages. We didn’t want to leave!"

"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

The owners are on the property but we hardly saw them.They were helpful and friendly and welcomed us with a breakfast cake and bottle of wine (both local) and a variety of other beverages in fridge. "We recently returned from a wonderful stay at this very charming, beautiful property. It is situated in the most picture perfect village with wonderful restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The hosts and locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. The property is cosy and warm if you’re planning to visiting in Winter - It really does make for a perfect stay. "We have just enjoyed 4 nights in the apartment (more like a one floor cottage) with the most spectacular views. The owners were very helpful and the property was spotlessly clean and set in beautiful gardens. We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the vista. Everything was exactly as you would wish for with modern design and lovely beams. I can highly recommend this apartment and the surrounding area was stunning. We wish we had booked for a week. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the Black...
