"It was very well located, clean, well equipped, warm and quiet. Lovely sunny open plan living space. The spiral staircase is steep and narrow - worth noting (but not an issue for us). Martijn was incredibly helpful and responsive. We arrived (as planned) at 4pm and our accommodation wasn’t ready which was frustrating after a very early start/long journey. A big bunch of unmarked keys took a bit of getting used to. we would highly recommend the property."

"A lovely apartment in the hills above Nus, with a fantastic view of the mountains south of the Aosta velley. Comfy beds, plenty of room for relaxing. The pellet stove for cold nights was appreciated. Good walking to various Refuges and a couple of local restaurants a short stroll away. Within driving range of Aosta, Gran Paradiso and the St Bernard passes (Great and Small). The owner is very helpful and easy to contact."

"A cozy tiny house, on a sunny mountainside with great views. In a calm, authentic little town. A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain. There is other great trails further up the mountain (starts 10 min. away in car), with spectacular views. We used it for skiing, and tried Cervina, Valtournence, Thorgnon and Chamois. We had our best day at Chamois, even that's the smalles and cheapest ski resort I have ever...

"Best location in the center of Zermatt. Very comfortable, we loved it so much. We will surely return. The apartment is small yet perfect for two and is well equipped. We can wven see the top of the Matterhorn from the kitchen window, bedroom and balcony. Wish i would own this small yet comfortable place."

"We were 2 families. Plenty of space and everything was looked after and clean. The host was really helpful and kind. We were a short distance from the town which was very quaint and felt untouched by tourists. We also had a row of shops and amenities 2 minutes drive in the car. We will definitely book here again and would highly recommend. Thanks Fulvio. We love you !!"

"We are a family of 6 and stayed for 2 nights. Our flight got delayed so we arrived completely exhausted around 10:40 pm. The main door to the building was locked and owner was not responsive to our messages so we were terrified we would be on the street the whole night. I finally found an employee of another building whose boss thankfully had a key and let us in. Next issue we faced was the elevator was broken the entire time and the apartment is on the 4th floor. "My mom and I traveled across Europe for almost a month, and this was by far our favorite accommodation. The property is in excellent condition and conveniently located within walking distance of the train station and Zermatt’s gondola rides to all major attractions. "This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

"We love this hotel so so much! The staff are super nice and helpful. We had issues with our snowboard gears that we had to ship from the US and they were so responsive to all my emails and were very helpful. We are so grateful to them especially Iliana and Sarah. They truly provide the best service. Very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is old but I wouldn’t say outdated at all. It has character. We wouldn't have it any other way. We had the view of the Matterhorn from our balcony which was awesome! The location is within walking distance to everything. The breakfast, especially the salmon benedicts that we ate for 4 days straight, were so good. We loved the friendly staff and service during breakfast as well. We loved the access to the pool and spa of the sister hotel as well. So highly recommend this hotel and will go back. "

Dream experince

"This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay."
