"As a VRBO owner myself, with 5 stars, I would expect the hospitality of owners with guest to be much better. They wrote a message to me a day before arrival stating there is no internet, and call them for the check in details. There was not an “I am sorry for your inconvenience.,..” They did try to have a company fix it. And after 4 days without, they had someone drive up a hot spot box. We used our own data for days. "It's a large house in a quiet, but accessible, location in the mountains a few km from Cauterets. The road up is bendy, but very good. The house is spacious and has a big living/eating/kitchen area which works very well. Bedrooms are also good and there are plenty of bathrooms. We didn't use the sauna but we made much use of the newly-installed jacuzzi outside - a great way to end the day under the stars!"

"Ten of us enjoyed an 'out of season' break at this lovely property in the small town of Cauteretes nestled in the stunning mountain landscape. With ages from 3 upwards we found plenty to do in the vicinity from a lovely animal park, to thrilling luge rides, gentle walks, to the cave and train ride at Lourdes and the relaxing spa - we packed a lot in! The house provided a perfect homely base. The stove was easy to use and was a welcome burst of heat and comforting flames after some long days...

"The house is in a slightly elevated position above Argelès-Gazost with beautiful views of the Pyrenees. It was a perfect base for riding the many famous cols in the area. The house easily accommodated four cyclists and their gear and had plenty of space to relax at the end of each day. The nearby town has all the shops you need including bars and restaurants and a friendly bike shop. "

"We stayed there for a one week cycling trip. The chalet is perfectly equipped. All new and clean. The view from the terrace is great and soul soothing. Location is perfect to explore some of the big mountains without having to use the car. The host is super responsive. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this home. It is in the beautiful picturesque town of Cauterets. The home is clean and comfortable and the views of the mountains were spectacular. We stayed 3 nights and hiked 2 days, one to Lake Gaube which was a beautiful alpine lake. The second day we hiked from a trail head within walking distance of the home. Etienne gave us recommendations for a nice restaurant right at the waterfalls. But we missed lunch service by about 30 minutes. Would definitely stay here...

"This place is so fantastic. It's got huge windows with great views of the mountains. It's cozy yet spacious. Kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. It's quiet and charming. The hosts are super gracious and friendly. It's only a 10 minute walk to town. The people in town were very nice and patient with my terrible french. Don't forget to take a bag with you to the grocery store to carry all the great French wine and baguettes! I could have stayed in this house all summer."
