Between ocean and mountain, authentic and charming house
individual 17th century Basque, completely renovated for 4 people.
Bayonne region, Biarritz, St Jean Pied de Port.
Each room is equipped with air conditioning.
You will be able to enjoy in peace the beauty of the light and the landscape of the Pyrenees from all the rooms of the house.
To enjoy the pleasures of the ocean, the most renowned sites on the coast:
Bayonne- Biarritz- St Jean de Luz- Labenne Océan- Capbreton
They are 30 to 50 minutes away (fast road access).
Lake Guiche (free access).
Also Lake Same with its 18 hectare body of water approved for swimming, supervision provided by qualified personnel. (Paid entry)

Sare- Espelette
La Rhune and its little rack train. (exceptional view and booking highly recommended)

For your comfort, the house equipped with reversible air conditioning is composed on the ground floor:
An entrance, a laundry room (washing machine, dryer and table top) with WC, sink and a storage cupboard.
The large main room equipped with reversible air conditioning, includes the living room, the dining room, the kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, food processor, coffee maker, toaster and kettle) on terrace overlooking countryside and Pyrenees.
An electric awning overhangs the terrace which hosts a garden furniture and four deckchairs.

Upstairs you will have:
-2 air-conditioned rooms with beds of hotel qualities of size 180x200 or 90x200
2 baby cribs are also available.
-Separate toilet with hand basin.

Simply Superb!
The tone of our stay was set by the enthusiastic wave that greeted us on our arrival. The property is everything we could wish for - well thought out, lovingly maintained and with a stunning view. Add to that the best of hosts who are there to assist - they went out of their way to help us get a bicycle repaired - but who do not to intrude. Quite simply the best rental property we have ever stayed in.

Gorgeous, perfect, quiet, fully equipped country house.
Amazingly wonderful 2 bedroom house, totally quiet at end of country lane surrounded by grazing cows and great views. Beds and furniture extremely comfortable. Every convenience is in the house, including wi-fi. Delightful, helpful and friendly owners nearby. Fine market in charming Bidache, 2 minutes away with interesting old castle in town. Easy driving to many gorgeous and interesting villages in the area, and 20 minutes to well known coastal towns and beaches. The highest possible recommendation!

An exceptional house in peaceful setting
We were delighted with and impressed by this modern Basque house. The well fitted kitchen / living area contributed to a very relaxed week. Bedrooms, bathroom and ample storage space upstairs were beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our aperitifs on the terrace. Brigitte and her husband were a charming couple who made us feel very welcome were very helpful throughout our stay. Its peaceful location at the end of the access road to this part of the countryside meant the only noise we heard was the mooing of cows. This was an excellent location tour from which to tour the Pays Basque region. St Jean de Luz, Biarritz, Bayonne, St Jean Pied de Port are all within easy reach. Une maison très soignée, elegante et pratique, au calme. Et les lits: parfaits! L' accueil par les propiétaires était très sympathique! C'est bien possible d' aller de Bidache á Bilbao pour visiter le Musée Guggenheim pendant un jour. Et n' oubliez pas Oloron Ste Marie pour le magasin Lindt: un vrai ciel de chocolat... Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable !!

Un petit paradis à la campagne
Location irréprochable. Excellent accueil par des propriétaires particulièrement sympathiques. Maison traditionnelle restaurée avec beaucoup de goût, spatieuse et dotée d'une literie très confortable. Tant au travers de la très grande baie vitrée au RDC que depuis l'étage, splendide vue sur la campagne environnante. Calme et silence impressionnants Nous avons passé une très heureuse semaine de découverte du Pays basque dans la "Maison Cauhepé" et la recommandons vivement.

Fantastisch
Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte die wir je hatten. Ruhige Lage am Ende einer Sackgasse. Hervorragend ausgestattetes Haus mit grandiosen Betten. Tolle Sicht, große Terrasse und ein schöner Garten. Brigitte und Olivier sind bezaubernde Gastgeber. Wir würden ohne zu zögern wieder kommen.

Es ist wie beschrieben ein wunderschönes, großzügiges und sehr sauberes Ferienhaus mit toller Lage. Man kann die absolute Ruhe genießen oder erreicht leicht mit dem Auto die Strände am Atlantik, die malerischen Städte und vielen Sehenswürdigkeit der Umgebung. Calme et découverte du Pays Basque en famille
Maison très agréable et accueil très chaleureux. Les propriétaires ont toujours de bonnes suggestions de visites en fonction de vos goûts, de votre humeur et de la météo. La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Elle possède de beaux volumes sans être surchargée en décorations. Enfin de la place pour prendre une douche! Toute la famille a beaucoup aimé ce séjour et cette belle demeure.

Magnifique maison entre campagne, montagne et océan

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans ce gîte bien equipé et decoré avec gout.La propreté et le confort ont éte´é parfait.Une superbe vue jusqu´aux Pyrénées.La situation geographique tres vien , toutes les lieus intéressant sont pas loin de cela. Belle région...belle rencontre
Le gîte est magnifiquement situé en pleine campagne et idéalement positionné pour partir à la découverte du pays Basque. La décoration est pensée avec goût et simplicité, avec deux chambres à la literie impeccable. D'une propreté absolue et très fonctionnel...rien ne manque! Quant à nos hôtes, Brigitte et Olivier, une vraie belle rencontre, ils se révèlent être des gens charmants, chaleureux, attentionnés et vraiment soucieux de notre bien-être...tout en restant très discrets. Das Haus liegt toll in Hügeln bei Bidache: Sonnig, ruhig und (nahezu) mückenfrei. Hier kann man nachts lange auf der Terasse sitzen und den tollen Sternenhimmel bewundern. Ausgestattet rundum super und auch sehr ansprechend. Im Sommer ist die separat steuerbare Klimatisierung des Wohnzimmers und der beiden Schlafzimmer auch ein großer Mehrwert. Rundum nett und sehr hilfsbereit sind auch die Vermieter. Wir wollen bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen.

Non seulement la maison est parfaite en tout point, mais l'accueil si chaleureux de Brigitte et Olivier en font l'endroit idéal pour découvrir ce beau pays. Vous qui cherchez le calme sans être totalement isolé, que vous soyez sportifs, adeptes du farniente, désireux de d'admirer de beaux paysages entre océan et montagne, curieux de découvrir l'histoire riche de ce pays de Bidache, contactez Brigitte et Olivier ; vous êtes au bon endroit ! Exceptionnel gîte
Accueillis comme des rois par Brigitte et Olivier, nous avons passés 2 semaines vraiment agréables et surtout au calme. Les propriétaires nous ont bien dirigés sur les lieux et sites à découvrir : biarritz, st jean de luz, st jean pied de port, le petit train de la rhune : site exceptionnel et autres endroits tout aussi merveilleux. Leur gîte est d'une propreté rare, bien agencé avec tout ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur. Nous les remercions du fond du coeur. Nous avons fait la connaissance de personnes exceptionnelles. Leur gentillesse, leur discrétion font de ces personnes et de leur maison un endroit qu'il ne faut en aucun cas rater. Nous recommandons VIVEMENT ce gîte calme en pleine nature aux personnes qui veulent tranquillité. Un ÉNORME MERCI encore à Brigitte et Olivier. Pascal & Laurence et bien entendu notre petite Princess. Nous espérons revenir bientôt.

Un séjour très agréable
Accueillis par Brigitte et Olivier, les propriétaires très discrets, nous avons séjourné 15 jours dans cette charmante maison joliment restaurée, très bien équipée et au calme où nous nous sommes bien reposés après nos diverses sorties. Nous avons découverts le pays basque sous toutes ses formes ( la gastronomie, le patrimoine très bien pourvu, les magnifiques paysages, le soleil et la chaleur) grâce aux conseils avisés et pertinents de Brigitte et Olivier. Encore un grand merci. A coup sûr, nous reviendrons dans la région et recommandons vivement cette location
