    The property has everything you need and is well located near the bakery. The beach is within easy reach and the blowhole is also a fairly easy walk. The beds are comfortable.

    We had a lovely stay. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, whole unit was very spacious. Only issue was that the hot water was not really hot, it was more Luke warm even without adding any cold water

    A very comfortable, clean and spacious property in an excellent location just a very short distance from the centre of Bicheno. The unit was very well stocked with everything a family would need for an enjoyable stay. Would strongly recommend it for families and friends.

    Not clean at all
    Photos on stayz were deceiving. The place is run down and it definitely hasn't been cleaned for a long time. The cutlery draw had lots of cockroach poo. Spider webs in all corners. The shower cubicle water collected on the opposite side to the drain. Bath tub was dusty. The whole place is carpeted and I just didn't fee comfortable and hubbie had to vacuum the whole place before allowing the kids to run around. I didn't feel comfortable using the plush sofa seeing how dusty the whole place is. Nor was I comfortable using the air con, not sure how bad the air con filter would have been. But had to turn it on cos it was so cold. Luckily we didn't get any allergy reactions. The description for the bedding arrangement was inaccurate. It is 3 single beds rather than what the description says as 2 singles and a trundle. Location is great as it is a few blocks from the water and walkable to see penguins at night. Also walkable to IGA.

    Great value in the heart of Bicheno
    No need to be concerned by the previous 1 star rating. This was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 children) - we stayed 3 nights. The unit had everything we needed. Brilliantly located in the centre of town only a few doors from the bakery and wine bar. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh and new. Air con was effective in the hot weather. Excellent value over the January long weekend. We would happily book again. Bicheno is beautiful and a great get away.
