I booked the small room and was surprised how spacious and comfortable it is. It’s a very old building, room is well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast delivered to room each morning was convenient and delicious.
Great location for Bicester Village. Extremely short walk from train station.
Room clean and incredibly comfortable.
Check in is at the bar and it was no problem, staff v helpful.
Paid for breakfast, expecting a choice, only to find they only offer cooked breakfasts 3 days per week so we had to have "continental" (as we'd paid for breakfast we were told we might as well have it!). Room wasn't clean, an old plaster stuck to the door inside the en suite. Bed was terrible, mattress was like sleeping on springs. Left over breakfast not collected, room not cleaned. Not worth anything like the £95 per night we paid!
The Plough has new management, it is ‘ tired’ but a staff member told us it was going to be renovated. It was super convenient for our needs on this trip. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included and a few options were offered.

Just did not like the room bathroom shower just to small did not like the sink in the room mattress felt old not very comfortable we were under the impression it was going to be a cooked breakfast disappointed with the continel .
Stayed two nights and enjoyed the magnificent service provided by the staff. They were extremely helpful and nothing was an inconvenience. The room was a good size, with ample facilities, except not enough teabags which was soon rectified. Would definitely recommend.

Quant wee pub in central location. Only 15min walk to Bicester Outlet Village. Rooms are nicely furnished with great touches like alternative milks. A old character building - The walls are quite thin & the flooring creaks. I missed breakfast so cannot comment on it.

One Night Stay (wouldn’t go again)
Even though the staff were very friendly & pleasant the stay wasn’t very pleasant no food available and breakfast was very poor delivered the night beforehand in a box. Room was adequate but very small the service and photos on Hotels.com were extremely misleading my complaints to the photographer.Definitely wouldn’t stay again.
Lovely room, it is over a pub so slightly noisy whilst the pub was open, staff were friendly and helpful. Food is great

Very poor stay.
After travelling 200+ miles and arriving at 7.30 I was hoping to get a bite to eat but was informed that the kitchen doesn’t open on a Tuesday so no food was available, no where does it stay kitchen closed. No cooked breakfast was available as the kitchen didn’t open til 12pm on Wednesday but a continental breakfast would be left outside my room. Room 3 was on the top floor and it was absolutely red hot in the room with 2 windows open. No fan available in the place. On waking at 7am expecting a continental breakfast to be outside there was nothing. I left at 7.30 and still so sign of breakfast or anyone at the pub. Disappointing stay and one i will not be repeating at The Plough.
This might be the friendliest place in England! Great afternoon in the bar watching rugby, nice dinner, decent wine, comfy bed fab breakfast. A lovely find.

Disliked: Room comfort
No breakfast available
Having paid in full for accommodation with breakfast I was told on arrival that no breakfast served on Wednesdays! Zero communication - therefore not great and went hungry!
Also no evening food served and had to go elsewhere which after busy day not ideal.
Definitely put this down to experience and not staying again
Bed also very uncomfortable.
All good free parking 2 min walk into town were other pubs with sky for football restaurants shops etc room very clean room 5 a bit compact but fine
Service was excellent from the bar staff and breakfast staff breakfast was severed from 8 but because i needed to be away let me have mine at 7 30 am reallly good
Pub downstairs cosy and with a wide range of food and beer i would stay again thank you
