Our 3-storey townhouse, located in the desirable new build area, Kingsmere in Bicester, has a whole host of shops, facilities, and amenities all within a short walk away. The Space:
Ground Floor
Kitchen/Diner
Our spacious kitchen-diner is the heart of the house and allows all guests to enjoy the social space together. The table comfortably seats eight people. The fully equipped kitchen incudes everything to make your stay as easy as possible. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, gas hob, full-length fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and more. There are patio doors leading to the patio.
W/C
In the hallway of the house there is a W/C with a wash basin. This handy facility means you don’t have to go upstairs to use the bathroom and makes life easier when there is a full house.
Bedroom 4 (Twin)
This bedroom is located on the ground floor and has twin single beds. The dual aspect windows allow for lots of light to brighten up the room, making it a lovely space to be in. The room has a hanging rail for your clothes and a mirror. There is also a table in the room.
First Floor
Living Room
Our good-sized living room boasts a corner sofa alongside a two seater sofa for relaxing. You can log in to your own Netflix/Amazon Prime account on the Smart TV so you can continue to binge watch your favourite programmes if you desire.
Family Bathroom
The first floor also boasts a modern bathroom which has a bath, a toilet, a sink and a shower over the bath. There is an electric shower. We provide hand soap and body wash as well as towels for each guest.
Bedroom 2 (Double)
This bedroom on the first floor has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe, a mirror, and a dressing table/desk. The room has dual aspect windows, so the room is light and bright. There is also a hairdryer available.
Top (Second) Floor
Bedroom 1 (Master)
The master bedroom, on the top floor of the house, offers a luxurious king-sized bed with an ensuite shower room. Like the other bedrooms, it has a mirror, dual aspect windows, a dressing table/desk, and a wardrobe. There is also a hairdryer available.
Ensuite/Second bathroom
The ensuite has ‘jack and jill’ doors meaning it can be accessed by the master bedroom or the top floor landing. Making it more versatile for the use of everyone in the property, when required. It has a toilet, sink and a spacious shower cubicle with hand soap and body wash provided.
Bedroom 3 (Twin)
The third bedroom, on the top floor, has two single beds, a mirror, and a dressing table/desk. The room has a hanging rail for your clothes. Like the other bedrooms, the room has dual aspect windows, so the room is light and bright.
Outdoor Area
The outdoor patio area is south facing so is a great place to enjoy in the sunshine. The area can be accessed through the patio doors from the kitchen-diner and has a side gate which leads out to the parking spaces. There is an ash tray situated outside where used cigarettes must be placed and it should be noted that there is no smoking inside the house.
Parking
There is one designated parking space in the parking area to the rear side of the property. To get to the rear of the property, where the parking is please turn left off Whitelands Way into Stratford Way and then turn immediately right into the parking area. The parking space is situated in front of the second garage from the left and to the left of the front door of the coach house above. There is also lots of on-street parking available very close to the house for any additional vehicles either on Stratford Way or Whitelands Way.
Location and Local Amenities
The house is located in the heart of Kingsmere centre and is very convenient for most things and has great links to lots of local attractions. In a less than a fifteen-minute walk you can be shopping in designer outlet Bicester Village, Bicester Avenue, Bicester shopping centre and the house is a short distance away from Bicester town centre. It is also important to note that there are various food shops (e.g., Co-op, M&S Food, Asda Local, and a large Tesco Extra) very close to the house, which means you can pick up the essentials any time of the day or night. There are lots of children’s play parks, sports fields, and outdoor gyms very close by. The town also has a cinema, ten pin bowling, leisure centre and an indoor trampoline park for the active ones.
Located in Bicester, the house has fantastic links to the amenities in the town and beyond. Bicester North train station goes from London, through to Birmingham and links to the North. The house is only a 20-minute walk to Bicester Village train station which takes you to Oxford and you are only a 50-minute ride away from London city centre. Local bus routes are also easily accessible.
There are many attractions in the area which are well worth a visit. Blenheim Palace is a 20-minute drive from the house and makes a great day out with all of the history, architecture and culture to explore. The house isn’t far from the Cotswolds and Silverstone racing track. Head to the National Trust website to discover all of the nearby properties in the area that also make a great day out.
If you’re a foodie and prefer to eat out or grab a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed by the selection of food outlets in the local area. As well as an array of local pubs, coffee houses and fast-food outlets that are within walking distance, you can also choose from plenty of different cuisines including Chinese, Turkish, Italian, Thai, Indian and more.
