"The hotel was very clean, and it was great that we had room service every day. Breakfast options were good. It would be good if they consider renovations of rooms as there is no electrical outlet or usb chargers and perhaps new fridges in the rooms. The water in fridges (which were at a fee) were just a little better than the room tempreature."

Tucked in the hillside of Piuro, near Chiavenna, with a beautiful view. "I stayed 6 days and would book here again but only room 4 or 5. The website is misleading: forget breakfast and do not expect aesthetics. The owners artworks are everywhere! Marco will insist that you squeeze into the tiniest parking space even if the whole lot is empty! In the end, the studio served its purpose....but this is no ‘mansion’: you hear every tiny sound from other rooms. Plastic flowers?"

"This was our third visit and as always everything was impeccable. A tiny bed and breakfast in the heart of Chiavenna that out performs some of the bigger hotels in the area. Beautiful room (No 2) with compact but really attractive shower room, coffee making machine and fridge. Easy check in and personalised breakfast order taken. Monica is so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back"

Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs.
