"The hotel is located on top of the hill and the town, that’s approximately 20 min walk down a well bricked path is sleepy… It is not the hotel’s fault, but nonetheless the town only has a few shops open. Although, I believe most visitors are here for the open market or to hike the castle ruins beside the hotel. Overall, the hotel is excellent. Customer service is great and the restaurant in the hotel is superb regardless that it’s the only show with a 20 min walk area. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway or a relaxing weekend adventure. "Room was nuce, clean, perfect for 2 people. Our room had a small kitchenette with a stovetop burner, small sauce pan, and a few other kitchen supplies. It worked well for breakfast but we opted to go out for supper. Overall the hotel was nice. Staff was friendly. And the paid covered parking was acceptable."

"The property is located in a lovely and quiet small town with easy walking access to two major grocery stores and a general store. Also, close and easy access to major highways and centrally/conveniently located to every place we wanted to visit.We really enjoyed our time in Waldmohr. The VRBO hosts, who we had the honor and the pleasure to meet and visit with were awesome. So much thoughtful attention to detail - everything we needed to enjoy our visit was provided in the house. The house was extremely clean, modern, and cozy(comfortable)."
