"Petite erreur par le gérant qui m’avait noté sur le planning le lendemain. Heureusement la chambre était tout de même disponible. La chambre na pas pu être prête avant 21h /21h30. Le lieu est magnifique. Le petit déjeuné manqué de « protéine » comme des œufs par exemple et ou des flocons d’avoine à la place de céréales traditionnelles. "

"This B&B is extremely special and I would highly recommend it. It’s in a beautiful location with a terrace overlooking the Charente river. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean and the pool is lovely. The hosts are so friendly and made our stay (over my birthday) really special. There is a small village within walking distance where you can swim in the river, hire canoes or visit two lovely restaurants. "Tres bon sejour. Le personnel est top. Bravo a eux. L'appartement est spacieux et confortable. La piscine est agréable. Les petits points négatifs. La températures de la piscine un peu fraiche et l ouverture de la salle de fitness un peu tardive . La taxe sur les animaux sont excessives. "

"Les maisons sont idéalement bien situées entre la plage et les commerces. Mais par contre l'annonce avec les 500 metres pour aller a la plage n'est pas correcte il y a un peu plus quand même du coup un peu difficile lorsque vous avez des tout petits comme nous... La literie est a revoir. Belle piscine que nous n'avons pas pu utiliser a cause du temps"

Nice new building.

"Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Ideal for overnight stay, staff very polite and helpful. New building 2023 modern decor excellent bathroom with large shower head. Window in bedroom was large but no way to keep it open just a little for fresh air. Would stay again and recommend it to others."

Ibis Styles La Rochelle Thalasso Châtelaillon

"This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We were a family of 3 and had a double and pullout / sofa bed. The air conditioning was very effective and the room very quiet. The swimming pool facilities are fantastic and a real highlight of a stay. We'd have appreciated longer hours for our kid to be able to use the indoor pool (perhaps lunchtime when the pool is a lot emptier). I'd suggest relaxing the hours in off-season also. Breakfast was satisfactory. We also enjoyed using the ping pong table. It's located about a 30 mins walk from centre of Chatelaillon / train station and we walked it. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you all the way to La Rochelle. All in all, we intend to return next year. "
