The Casanova is located in the neighborhood of Beuda (region of La Garrotxa); at the foot of the mountain of "La Mare de Déu del Mont" on its southern side; in an area of gypsum and alabaster extraction; at 300 m. from the town of Beuda; 5 km from Besalú; and in the vicinity of important churches and Romanesque hermitages. The house stands out at first sight for its blue color. The Casanova was built at the beginning of the 20th century, in the year 1921. Recently, it has been restored in stone and wood, following the original model and the local architectural tradition; and respecting same, the pre-existing colors to its restoration. The house, the garden breathe a climate of calm and tranquility; being -with the harmony of its interior and exterior spaces- an ideal place for calm and rest. Itineraries on foot and by bicycle. Right next to and completely independent there is a small restored old house that is our cabin, it has two rooms (one double and another triple), living room with biomass heating, on the ground floor is the kitchen, the bathroom and a small living room -dining room with fireplace, with private outdoor garden area.
