Welcome to Blaen Ddol, a wonderful traditional stone-fronted cottage dating back to the 1860s, in the charming and ever-popular village of Betws-y-Coed.
Rich in history and charm, this original miner's cottage, which once served the Hafod-Las Slate and Slab quarry, can accommodate up to five guests. Featuring three elegantly furnished bedrooms with solid wood furniture, including two double bedrooms and one single. The cottage offers two contemporary-styled bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath and a shower room downstairs.
The living area boasts light and airy décor, with a large corner sofa, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV perfect for relaxation. Head into the kitchen where you’ll find a modern, well-equipped space with ample workspace, a breakfast bar, and all the amenities needed for an easy self-catered stay. Sliding doors open out from the kitchen onto a spacious, long lawned garden, offering a private space with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Betws-y-Coed is known as the gateway to Snowdonia and the neighbouring towns and villages. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel, enhanced by the dense Gwydyr Forest surrounding the village. Breathe the fresh air, enjoy walking one of the many trails around the village, bike on a huge range of mountain biking trails, take in the history and culture of one of North Wales’s many castles, and take on the challenge of hiking in the mountains to see the splendour of Snowdonia's natural beauty.
