"Good room , nice pub, nice people"

"I paid for breakfast but didn’t know until the morning it only covered a continental breakfast not cooked which had an additional surcharge of £10 which was a little steep I thought. There were lots of people just opting for the continental. The room was good although it backed onto the main road which was like being next to the M1. Overall it was ok ."

"Lovely quirky old hotel but bathroom layout poor, could do with removing bath and putting a shower only, it would be much safer. Reception lady at 2pm was very abrupt and just said “check in not till 3” we only wanted to let her know we had parked in the patrons only car park. Breakfast staff and checking out lady, lovely."

"We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious."
