"I'm really glad we stayed here. It's as close to perfect as possible. Situated in a small village (with restaurants, shopping, EV charging, etc. not far away) it's a perfect location to explore the Pyrenees and their attractions. The hosts are welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything we needed was provided. Would have no hesitation at all in recommending Le Balcon des Cimes to friends and family. "

"I was greeted kindly upon arrival and allowed to check in early which I appreciated greatly. Unfortunately the place wasn’t too clean, I found that my towels were stained and one side of one of my pillows also had some unsavoury marks. I also ended up with some itchy bites on my legs, so there is possibly a problem with bed bugs. "Germaine was so accommodating and helpful specially it is my first time in Lourdes. She took good care of me. It was such a short visit for me and I always arrived late at night with the activities in Lourdes. She managed my visit well. A few items for improvement, blankets during cold weather, and towels for bathing. Never had the time to ask for these as I left early and arrived late, but am sure it can be accommodated. All in all a nice visit to Lourdes with my thanks to the host."

"No one to let us in, another guest opened the lockbox. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was complete, shower was good. Breakfast was help yourself, bread, jams, yoghurts, orange juice, tea and coffee, but no milk! Kitchen was well equipped, oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee makers, etc. Bedroom was quiet with blackout shutters and a small french television. "Je ne recommande pas du tout cette chambre d'hôte. Pour moi chambre d'hôte c'est en compagnie de l'habitant. Pas même un verre d'eau offert à l'arrivée. Réception de nos chambres et le propriétaire est reparti en verrouillant toutes les pièces sauf nos chambres, refusant l'accès à la cuisine, nous indiquant qu'il n'était pas un gîte ! si j'avais su j'aurai choisi un gîte ! pas même de quoi se faire une tisane, pas de frigo. 2 chambres.Et il revenait marcher à 8h du matin au dessus de nos têtes....
