On Goss Pond - Cozy cabin, family friendly for nature lovers!

Welcome to the Goss Pond House! With many updates made in recent years, the Goss Pond House was designed with fun and excitement in mind. Whether you need a quiet place to reflect and unwind with a dramatic backdrop full of inspiration and awe or are looking foradrenaline-packedcked vacation full of skiing, hiking, or climbing, this house will provide a memorable stay year after year.

The location of the Goss Pond House is ideal; in the winter months, enjoy skiing at nearby Mt Abram and Sunday River Ski Resorts, or use a pair of the skates provided and take a spin out on the frozen pond. During the warmer months there are a variety of trailheads for day hikes within a 10-minute drive of the house. This prime location makes it easy for you to enjoy recreation at your fingertips.

Amenities at the house include a sauna, a large deck overlooking the Goss Pond, and the dramatic cliffs of Egypt Mountain. There is also an outdoor hot tub (fully covered) and a grill making it easy to enjoy the outdoors well into the evening. With a soaring fireplace located in the sunroom, this space is the go-to lounge well into the night. The house is perfect for families with kid-friendly amenities that include; a pack-n-play, two baby monitors, a high chair, a baby gate for the stairs, children's toys, and books. There are plenty of books and games for all ages to enjoy.

Enter the house through the mudroom where you can enjoy organized storage for your skis, boots, and outside layers. On the main level, you will find a living room, full bathroom, and kitchen which is abundantly stocked with all of the supplies, spices, and cookware that you will need. The main level bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, a bureau, and a closet.

Upstairs, there is a second full-size bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom is arranged with twin bunk beds and a separate twin/trundle bed.. The other bedroom has a twin trundle with a queen and a bureau. This is a cozy and quiet living space for those that like to conk out after a day of fresh air.

On the lower level, there is a second living room area that has access to the sunroom with a stone fireplace, the hot tub, and the sauna. There is a separate space with a 4th sleeping area with a queen bed, though it does not provide egress access. This can be a quiet place to rest or read. This level also has a full bathroom which will give larger families additional privacy.

Recent updates include extending a roof to fully cover the patio and hot tub (enjoy regardless of inclement weather!), relocating sauna controls to provide easier access, the addition of an outdoor picnic table and additional seating for summer months, updates to the bathrooms, and screens in all windows during summer months.

*There is a woodstove, but not for rental use. You will need to provide your own wood for the fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

Security Camera Disclosure: This home is equipped with exterior security cameras for protection and to monitor snow removal. The cameras are located at the following locations:
1. Near front door facing driveway
2. Outback on deck

Snow removal: All our homes are contracted with various snow removal companies in the area. This includes plow service and snow shoveling for decks and harder to reach areas.

Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking.
