" ATTENTION RENTERS" "Barefoot in Bethany is a pet friendly beach house! Just 4 Blocks to the beach!! Bedrooms remodeled. New mattresses and box springs, and quilts. Freshly Painted. New Flooring. 4 Bedrooms, 3/1/2 Bath. All bedrooms and family room have smart TV's, guest can stream any streaming service. Come relax in your home away from home. 2 Master Bedrooms. Both Masters have Private Bathrooms. We also provide plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for the beach. We also have a beach cart to make it easy to transport everything to and from the beach. Fully Stocked Kitchen. OXO-Tea Kettle, Keurig Coffee Maker. For your safety, the home is protected by a Ring Doorbell located outside on the right side of the front door. A Ring stick up camera is located outside the backdoor. on the left-hand side. A Ring stick up camera covering the back deck is located outside above the French doors on the deck.

Bethany Beach Two Week Stay
We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely townhouse in Bethany Beach in the neighborhood of Bethany Shores. We love the location, as we walked to the beach into town just about every day! We especially loved being able to bring our small, 10 lb dog (Bichonpoo).

Family Getaway
This property was great for a family reunion. Allowed us to stay within a 20 minute walk the beach for those beach lovers and the same distance to shopping for those that were not. Restaurants and mini golf just across the street. Kitchen was pretty well equipped for cooking and there are extra folding tables and chairs in addition to the dining table for large family meals, if that's your thing.

Bethany Beach Getaway
This property was within walking distance to the beach. We were able to view the July 4th fireworks from the parking lot of the neighborhood. The house was spacious enough to accommodate six adults and two children comfortably. We enjoyed the outdoor deck.

Perfect long weekend with family
Lea’s townhome was perfect for a long weekend at Bethany Beach with family. The home is a short easy walk to the beach and within walking distance to many local attractions and a CVS. The neighborhood is safe and has ample parking. We had everything we needed (kitchen supplies, beach umbrellas, chairs, beach toys for kids, and a sturdy wagon to carry it all in). Lea was wonderful to communicate with and quickly replied to my messages. Would highly recommend!

The condo was perfect - clean, quiet, well-supplied with everything you could possible need and convenient to the beach and restaurants. Jack, the property manager, is great - responded immediately to any questions we had about Bethany Beach. We all (age 2 to 65) had a marvelous time. Many thanks to Jack!

Awesome down time with kids!
We loved our stay and couldn’t have asked for more. My kids loved having their own rooms and really enjoyed the common areas lime the main floor living room and the deck. We didn’t know what to expect going a little earlier in the spring but it was perfect. It was exactly what we all needed to recharge! And our host made the process of checking in a no brainer and provided very clear communications about everything we needed to know to make our stay super comfortable. Thank you so much!

Great property for a great price!
Jack was an amazing host and was very responsive to my questions. Check in was incredibly simple and the house was very cozy and well suited for 7 of us. Only gripe I had was the light switch in the 3rd story master bath was very finicky and lights shut off while in the shower. Besides that, everything was great and I’m glad I picked this spot for our location. Would definitely return in the future. Thank you Jack!

Good size townhouse that allows dogs. Owner seemed nice and messaged often. House seemed a bit neglected (sticky cabinets, scuffed walls, peeling paint, insects on first floor) and bathrooms not clean. Note, there are 3 exterior cameras, 2 in front and one on the deck. Upstairs bedrooms were nice. First floor master was tight for 2 people, small with a full size bed. Walkable location if you visit with people in sea colony. Short drive to the boardwalk in Bethany.

Amazing location
Was surprised on arrival to find we were supposed to bring linens. Reviewed all info but never found that detail. Property layout was terrific and proximity to beach and retail was amazing. As was noted in other ratings, cleaning was not up to expectations. I washed rugs and cleaned walls. Property had some wear and tear- owner was very responsive (malfunctioning deck umbrella was replaced quickly). Beach equipment was awesome as was grill. Beds were NOT comfy, but overall, very positive experience.

Really Disappointed
So disappointed--we had read the positive reviews but our experience didn't reflect that at all. The unit had ants, lots of them, and wasn't very clean. We contacted the owner, who was very responsive, bought ant traps for us to put out, and credited us with the cleaning fee (around $100). On the morning of checkout, my daughter saw a large brown "beetle" in her room... The listing also implied that this unit is super close to the beach, and it is--but only private access portions of the beach. To get to the public beach you have to drive and pay parking. All of this would be maybe ok (?) if it were priced significantly lower than other units but it was way way overpriced for the reality. The owner is super nice and responsive, but we definitely got duped and would not recommend this listing. Yuck.

Not what we expected-never again
I have never been unhappy with any property, but there is a first time for everything. I was expecting a lovely accommodation relatively close to the beach, which was quite a distance away. My whole family felt that this accommodation was very old and forgotten. Although there were closets, there was no place to unpack the things in our luggage and place them in any furniture with drawers. The beds were old and squeaky, in fact all of the furniture and the contents of the home were very old. We felt like the house was "beat up", not a beach house or a home that was well cared for. I feel terrible writing this review but I feel I must as I made this reservation based on previous reviews which appear completely unlike our experience.I think the owner should really take a look at this property and pay attention to it. Everything was old, stained and the walls were filthy. Never again.

Nice Large House Off Route 1 in Bethany Beach
We stayed a few nights at this house in the off-season in a big group - eight friends, a baby, and dog. The house was large, clean, well-stocked with cooking supplies and beach gear, and the host was very communicative and helpful, checking in multiple times during our stay. Good option if you don't mind staying a few blocks from the beach - it was about a 10 min walk across Route 1, or a 3 min drive.
