"Mauricio, who met us at the door and tends the Casa, is great - friendly and informative. The furnishings are a bit basic and the black out curtains aren't totally effective. The location is walkable to the Plaza and on the quiet side above the river which you can hear running all of the time. Looking around Jardin, I'm not sure that we could find a better spot."

"When I checked in, they were very firm about quiet hours from 9pm to 8am. It was Saturday night and there was loud conversation at least until 11pm. I wish there was a night table. No roses as per the photos. LOL. Otherwise, it was easy to walk to the main square, bus station, etc. The older staff was conscientious, professional and friendly. Good value for the money. "

"The rooms and amenities were not as advertised. Some of this may have been due to off season. Had to upgrade rooms due to limited size. Scenery was idyllic, though. Grounds staff were very helpful. There were only fitted sheets covered by the bed comforter (no top sheets), and no pillows with pillow cases (just decorative pillows with shams). Since the restaurant was closed, there was no way to request sheets. Cable TV was not operating - we did not care, but this was advertised. ...

"A great finca to relax and spends some time outside of Medellin. It's about 20 mins walk outside of the town center. The beds are not the most comfortable but the room was sparkling clean. The staff are so kind and helpful."

"If you want a rural experience in an idyllic, scenic and relaxing environment with access to shops and restaurants only 15 minutes away by tuk tuk then Finca Mariposa is that place. It is exactly as descibed and photographed. The owner and farm manager have great communication regarding both the property and recommendations for activities and restaurants. "
