"The location of this hotel was perfect; it was literally in the middle of Alghero. Just a few minutes walk from all of the restaurants and stores. "We stayed at Casa Machin during June/July 2019. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the room, as well as the amenities on offer to us (shared kitchen), which was stocked well with a range of breakfast choices each morning! "It just didn’t seem like what was shown online. I had the impression that it was like a hotel. It was not. We were only given one role of toilet paper, so we had to ask the host to bring some. We have to give him props for coming to give us some though. There also wasn’t any shampoo or conditioner, it just seemed disappointing. We didn't pay that much so I guess you get what you pay for."

"We liked the room, just surprised that the toiletries were limited to one jar of liquid hand soap. We had shampoo and other soap so not a problem for us. The room and bathroom are spacious and there was a terrace with our room. "Horrible, pas dormi de la nuit car un bar restaurant se trouve juste en dessous et musique jusqu'à 3h du matin et bruit de musique le matin à 7h, petit déjeuner moyen dans ce même bar. Dommage pour la propriétaire qui était très ennuyée de la situation et nous a finalement remboursé l'intégralité de la chambre. Wish we could have stayed longer, the owners were exceptionally friendly and layed breakfast out that evening so we could eat in the morning before our early departure. Location is ideal for both the beach (2 min walk) and the restaurants and shops (10 min walk)."
