"The location of this hotel was perfect; it was literally in the middle of Alghero. Just a few minutes walk from all of the restaurants and stores. I was used to having bidets but I understand why they probably didn’t have one; there’s just not enough room. I didn’t have a lot of stuff so the climb up the steps wasn’t a big deal. "We stayed here just for one night before starting a kayaking tour. It's a great little spot for a short stay - close to both the old town and the beach. Rooms are clean, mattresses are a little on the hard side. Can be a little noisy at night if you want to keep the window open for some breeze as there's an amusement park across the road that's open late, but there is air conditioning so you can shut the windows which keeps the noise out. "It just didn’t seem like what was shown online. I had the impression that it was like a hotel. It was not. We were only given one role of toilet paper, so we had to ask the host to bring some. We have to give him props for coming to give us some though. There also wasn’t any shampoo or conditioner, it just seemed disappointing. We didn't pay that much so I guess you get what you pay for."

"We arrived at this hotel after a mix up at the airport meaning that after two hours of waiting we had no hire car and no transport to think of arriving a little flustered. After a warm welcome from Alessandro & Monica he showed us our room and told us not to worry he would sort it if we would like him to (yes please!), and surely enough a little while later there was a car waiting for us on the driveway. "Horrible, pas dormi de la nuit car un bar restaurant se trouve juste en dessous et musique jusqu'à 3h du matin et bruit de musique le matin à 7h, petit déjeuner moyen dans ce même bar. "We liked the room, just surprised that the toiletries were limited to one jar of liquid hand soap. We had shampoo and other soap so not a problem for us. The room and bathroom are spacious and there was a terrace with our room. "We really enjoyed our stay at Antonello’s house. It is very homely and authentic- Antonello and Gabry were welcoming but respected our privacy. They were on hand though if we needed them for anything. The house is in a rural location so you really need a car if you want to explore all that Sardinia has to offer. Ossi and Tissi are about 20 minutes walk and have a few cafes and small shops. Gemini bar in Tissi is fab. Alghero is lovely and about 40 minutes drive. The garden and pool were great...
