Had a great day… My wife loved the charm of the farmhouse features and we had a great family bonfire on a cool November night 👍
Lots of games and everything you need.
Immaculate. Comfortable beds and sofas. Beautiful artwork and furnishings. Enjoyable outdoor spaces. Terrific selection of kitchenware. Note: high toilet in accessible bathroom. Few dressers.
A few friends and I were in town for a wedding and stayed at the property with our dogs. It is a beautiful setting, especially in fall! We enjoyed using the deck and fire pit, and the beds were comfy.
One thing to note is to have an accurate count of how many people will be staying with you because that will change the price of your stay.
The Farm was a peaceful place to stay. We greatly enjoyed sitting on the patio, bird watching, and resting on the hammock. The kitchen and dining room are large and comfortable. Our host, Hilary, was easy to contact and eager to help.
Was a nice old farm house with renovated kitchen. Location was in quiet rural area with plenty of outside seating areas and parking. Was sufficient for our stay with four adults and a child.
This is a gorgeous space, well stocked for hosting and relaxing. Hilary was very communicative and super helpful, and made sure the space was perfect for us as we arrived! This was a wonderful experience where a group of friends were able to have private rooms and tons of space for being together.
Hilary was so helpful and quick to communicate so we never had any questions! Lovely, clean farmhouse with so much character. We stayed because we had a lacrosse tournament in the area. We were happy to have somewhere we could bring our goldens.
Host was very helpful and communicative! The house has nice gathering space and charm.
Also, and this was a BIG plus for our group which included an elderly person with a walker, IT HAS A RAMP to get in! (The bed on the main level is a tad high for someone with mobility issues to climb into however, but that person in our group just slept on the couch and was comfy.)
It was rainy while we were there, but it looks like a good backyard for nice weather (nice patio & fire pit, etc.)!
We enjoyed our stay!
Charming 1870 farm house in the country with all you need! If you like to cook, you will find this kitchen well stocked and waiting for you! It’s in the countryside so very peaceful and quiet. Nice outdoor deck and all you need for the beach. The owner is readily available and eager to please. If quiet and comfortable is what you’re looking for, then this is the place!

Andrews Graduation
Our family of 10 stayed at the property for Andrews University Graduation. The proximity was excellent. We had enough space and beds. The bathroom situation was difficult. There was one full bath located downstairs by the back door. Not convenient for anyone. There was one very small half bath upstairs with not much space for using to get ready. For there to be so few bathrooms but space to sleep so many, bedrooms need to be equipped with mirrors to do hair, makeup etc. It was quite warm when we were there and not all bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners (which are window units) The host explained that her mower broke and she couldn't finish cutting the grass...thats fine but overall the property was not well maintained. Overall the stay was pleasant and met our needs. Also the host checked in by text and was very kind.
We had a family gathering close by and "The Farm" was perfect for our needs. We had 6 adults in our group. Our stay was comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked.
I personally stayed in the downstairs bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, one of the more comfortable beds I've stayed in at VRBOs. It should be noted that there is a curtain in place of a bedroom door. It was not a problem for us. There were 4 bedrooms total for us to use.
Last minute we needed to bring our dogs. The house has many dog gates and is pet friendly (dog beds included). The yard was large enough to throw the ball to exercise them.
We needed to contact Hillary during our stay. She was super helpful and very professional. She was wonderful to work with through the whole process!
I would not hesitate to stay here again should we be back in town.
Thank you Hillary for a wonderful stay!!!! You are a fantastic host.
Enjoyed a nice relaxing time with family and celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was awesome, and it reminded us of our farmhouse in Virginia. The big table allowed us to have a wonderful meal. We will defiantly use this house again when we visit.
My family of four loved this home. Plenty of room, lovely furnishings, and convenient location for the wedding we attended at he Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn.
A beautiful property! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Working with Hilary was a pleasure as she responded quickly to all my questions and made the check-in/check-out process a breeze. Would highly recommend!
This is a very nice old farm house. The inside has been re done and was very nice. We stayed 2 nights to attend the NIU at Notre Dame football game. Very short drive to South Bend. Most of our time was spent outside enjoying the fire pit. Every room had a window air conditioner and an oscillating fan which made for a comfortable temperature. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and accessories which was very helpful. More than most VRBO's we have stayed. We would stay here again.
