"This was a good location. I stayed here with my mom. We found it convenient to walk into downtown from the hotel. I was happy that there was free off street parking. That was the deciding factor me in the end. The front desk provided excellent service. Every question I had, they were gracious and helpful. There are a few cosmetic issues - peeling plaster or paint in the shower in one room and a broken bedside light in the other, but the nice location and parking lot parking mattered WAY...

"Our young receptionist (jeane fille, tre joile - wish we knew her name) was very professional and welcoming. She personally introduced the main areas of the hotel and locale and escorted us to our room where she explained the facilities. You could not wish for a better reception. The hotel was beautifully decorated. We liked the spa and indoor pool but as we were eating out cannot comment on the food. The hotel would have had spectacular views had the weather been better. "Lovely hotel right on the beach, amazing amenities, beautiful spacious rooms, great spa, good restaurants (but book in advance). Be prepared that most staff /people in the area don't speak good English, but they are super nice and friendly and will do their best to understand broken French :). Highly recommend booking restaurants in the area (especially highly rated ones) in advance."

"Aged between 11 and 80 and celebrating two 80th birthdays this year. From outside the accommodation is impressive. We all enjoyed the gardens and the lake. Plenty of room for activities and for relaxation. We were sorry that the sun had gone from the outside table by late afternoon as it was a great place to gather early evening.
