Very accommodating
As always , a wonderful stay here. We stayed here 3 times as its close to family when we are visiting. We never have to worry about breakfast because there is fresh eggs, milk, chocmilk and a sweet treat waiting for us. Always clean and so cozy! Our daughter got sick the morning we had to leave and she was so accommodating letting us have a late check out! Will stay again!

Cozy Country Cottage
Hosts had this cottage prepared to make us feel right at home with Chocolate/Regular Milk, fresh eggs and baked goods! There was a hiccup with hot water, but it was fixed in no time! Large living space to fellowship and spend time with family and nice double sink in bathroom. The only downside is the description says there's a washer/dryer, but the basement was off limits due to safety reasons.

Home away from Home to visit Family
We enjoyed our stay here. We loved the cozy quaint feeling of this home and had everything we needed even fresh eggs.milk, choc milk and bread and baked goodies were waiting for us from their farm store! Clean and so cute and furnished lovely. Only thing I would say is its a bit noisy being on a busy highway but our sound machine helped wirh that. Communication was amazing and very convenient to all major highways to get where you need to go. Would stay here again for sure! Thank you!

Perfect Getaway
This cottage was much bigger then we expected. Very spacious and very cozy. Beds were super comfy, our host left us stocked with fresh eggs and milk and coffee. We walked next door to their family marketplace and had some of the best ice cream weve ever had. Koziers village was only 10 minutes away. Highly recommend it!

Family vacation
We rented the property to visit family and the house was in a perfect location for us. From the moment we stepped in, it was a beautiful home! We walked into some freshly made cupcakes and a little message. It was very welcoming. There were enough beds to sleep 8 people comfortably and to my surprise, they had some toys in the living room! My 4 yr old was excited. It was a very comfortable home that was perfectly equipped for our family needs. Communication from the home owner was great and next time we stay, we can't wait to take advantage of some of the other ammentities. Can't wait to stay again! Great host!

Great property, clean and comfortable; the only negatives being that the beds could be updated and blackout curtains should be added to keep out the headlights from the rooms. (Property is located right off of a busy highway)

Perfect home base for visiting Pennsylvania
We were in the area to visit my brother and needed a place to begin the adventure! Olivia was there when we arrived and told us we could connect with them for information about the area, or if we wanted, we could even visit their dairy farm. There is a small country store 500 ft up the road that sells local goods, including meats, syrups, and dairy, and it was all delicious! We visited Harrisburg, Hershey, and Hawk mountain, all easily navigated from the cottage. I would stay there again!

Beautiful, Cozy Cottage
The cottage was beautiful, clean and cozy. The owner went to the extra work of decorating the cottage as we stayed over Christmas. This was a beautiful touch! They also provided a sample of their delicious Way-Har Farms milk. The owner was also very good about getting back to me with questions.

Cozy and Comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at Way Har Guest Cottage. It was plenty big enough for our family of 5....Loved the big comfy couches and blankets for our movie night! The kitchen was spacious enough for our family meals. And we very much appreciated the breakfast supplies and special dessert that was left!! My only complaints are the traffic noise and lights at bedtime. The windows could use some updating / insulating and could definitely use some cellular shades. Overall, the host was very accommodating and the house was cute, cozy and comfortable!

What a lucky find! We were last minute making travel plans to the area, and I found this guest cottage. Cute, clean and so well stocked with amenities. The previous review covers everything, so I won't be redundate here. Don't forget to take a look at all the delicious items at the Way-Har store just down the road. I picked up gifts for friends as we continued to travel. Everything was delicious! Route 183 is heavily traveled, so my advice is to park in back. It will make going and coming much easier and safer. That's my only tip to future travelers. Great place to stay!

Hiking the AT
This was a great location for hiking the AT. We wanted to check in early, but didn't receive an answer. We were able to check-in on time as they were finishing the cleaning. They have been updating the house and had the septic pumped while we were there. They told us at check-in that they will be replacing the windows. There were no screens in the current windows. The AC unit is in the living room. We stayed in the back bedroom so the truck noise was not as loud for us. They could use some room darkening shades or dark curtains. Since there was no dishwasher, we washed the dishes before we used them. The refrigerator had old food in it. They did leave us chocolate milk, eggs, regular milk and cupcakes which was very nice. Overall, we had a great stay as we hiked the AT and sat outside on the porch which had a great outdoor chairs and table.

Good location, but on a major (loud) road. Don't expect to get sleep
We were looking for a quiet home to get away, and that's what the title suggested. The house was a good location, close enough to do things, kitchen was stocked and clean. However, the house is on a very busy road that has traffic all day and night. We had a very hard time getting sleep as all we heard were passing vehicles and would feel the shake when trucks passed, which was often.... In addition, there are no blinds on the windows so we would have headlights shine in all night long. After a long day of being out on the trails, we just wanted to rest. I wish we knew how busy the road was ( and the fact there are no blinds on the windows) before booking.

Bring Your Ear Plugs and Sleep Mask
On a very, very, very busy state road. Not being from the area I was unaware. Wish I had read the reviews. The truckers love their jake breaks we found, even in the night. The bathroom and bedrooms only have shears, no blinds or curtains to stop the light of the constantly passing cars and trucks from dancing across the bedroom walls all night. Between the flickering lights and road noise we had trouble sleeping through the night. Overall, the house is in need of a deep cleaning throughout. The mouse droppings, rotted wood, and wholly screen door in front was not very inviting. The inside of the oven was GROSS. There was also something black and disgusting in the sink when we arrived. Like I said...the place needs a deep cleaning. You have to position the 2 x 4 and paint can just right to keep the dryer door closed.

This cottage/house had well-furnished bedrooms, and a kitchen with relatively new and fully functional appliances. The house was very clean. The owner was friendly and communicated well. Fresh cupcakes were waiting for us when we arrived. The TV was large and new, but had almost no live TV access, which was very frustrating as our stay occurred during the NCAA tournament. But there is access to streaming services if you have an account. Parking in the driveway is limited to 2 vehicles, and getting to the back where you can park is a bit awkward. There is a small stream and field to the back making for a very nice view in that direction. The biggest negative that we experienced is how close the house is to State Road 183, and how much truck traffic uses that Road throughout the day and night. This is especially noticeable in the front bedroom and living room and made it a bit difficult to fall and stay asleep. It was not as bad on Saturday night as it was on Friday night. The good news is that the house is very accessible from I-78 thanks to its proximity to 183, making it very easy to get to Hamburg and its restaurants, shops and breweries. It is also very close to the mountains and the trails leading to the beautiful Pulpit Rock and Pinnacle lookouts.
