Cozy comfortable home
The house has everything we needed and I would stay here again when visiting Normandy. Due to the spring weather, we weren’t able to enjoy the lawn chairs or the nearby beach, but I can see that as being the high point of a summer stay.

Beautiful Garden
A lovely cottage with a beautiful garden. We liked it here very much. The little beach house that you can use is great. Unfortunately, it was a bit too cool for us to swim.

It did what it said on the tin
The place was exactly as described, it was just what we needed. I could say the bed I had was too soft for my liking but it didn't detract from the good time we had.

Ce fut un grand plaisir de retrouver la maison de Bernieres et son joli jardin . La proximité de la plage est idéale avec des enfants. Le site regorge de nombreuses activités . Séjour super agréable, Caroline nous accueille avec gentillesse et nous fait part des manifestations culturelles ou festives proposées.

Visite sites du débarquement
Maison très agréable, fleurie bien adaptée pour notre famille de 5. Bien placée pour visiter les sites du débarquement mais pas que, les plages Normande sont nombreuses. Propriétaire très accueillante et tres avenante lors de notre séjour. WE prolongé parfait.

Wunderschönes Haus nahe am Meer
Die Umgebung bietet viele interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten. Besonders die Landungsstrände und die D-Day Besucherzentren Juno Beach, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach und Cean sollte man sich ansehen. Das Meer mit seinem feinen Sandstrand läd zum Baden ein.

Séjour dans la jolie maison
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette région. La maison est très bien et joliment décorée. Nous avons profité de la plage, sortie, jardin très beau. Location qui convient parfaitement aux familles avec enfant. La plage est à 10 minutes à pied : trajet est confortable et sécurisé. Nous recommandons aussi la plage de Courseulles sur mer qui est très grande, et aménagée avec jeux pou r les enfants. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse de Caroline et ses conseils. Sylvie et Denis

Un séjour très plaisant !
La maison est idéalement située, à 10 min de la mer à pied . Le jardin joliment fleuri permet aux enfants de jouer en toute sécurité et aux adultes de profiter du calme . La proximité du camping n’est absolument pas gênante . Caroline nous a fort bien accueillis et conseillés pour nos découvertes de la région . Une cabine de plage est même à disposition ce qui est très pratique avec des enfants . Bernieres sur mer est une station balnéaire charmante .

Séjour familial réussi
cette station balnéaire est un peu à l'écart des mouvements de foule de touristes. Cette petite maison très coquette , très bien équipée , très calme, nous a permis de passer des moments familiaux très forts et de les partager en marchant sur les plages , en faisant du vélo ensemble et en visitant le musée de Juno Beach . Hôtesse très accueillante, bonne conseillère , très arrangeante . Gite à conseiller sans restriction .Edmond

Excellent séjour. Merci!
Nous venons de passer une excellente semaine dans cette très jolie maison. Nous avons été accueilli par Caroline avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Elle nous a indiqué de très bonnes adresses :) pour visiter ou déguster. En ce qui concerne la maison, la cuisine est bien équipée. Le salon de jardin est un plus car le jardin est aussi très agréable, que ce soit devant ou derrière la maison. Nous avons très bien dormis grâce à la literie et au calme du lieu. En somme que du bonheur. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Cécile

Jolie maison de bord de mer, très fonctionnelle.
Tout près de la mer, bien décorée et bien équipée, cette jolie maison a contribué à la réussite de notre cousinade ! De plus, l'accueil de Caroline est vraiment très sympathique.

La maison est très confortable et tout est prévu pour les bébés. L environnement est très calme et proche de la mer. Un petit plus la cabine de plage tres pratique avec les enfants. Caroline est une hote très accueillante et sympathique. Un cours sejour très ressourçant, nous reviendrons a coup sûr.

Traumhaftes Haus, perfekt (nicht nur) als Basis zur Erkundung der geschichtsträchtigen Umgebung
Das Haus und der große Garten sind noch schöner, als das Inserat erkennen lässt. Es ist sehr geräumig, sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht. Die Einrichtung ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll, bis hin zur Bettwäsche und den ebenfalls bereitgestellten Handtüchern. Die Vermieterin Caroline verdient mindestens 6 von 5 Sternen! Wir wurden nicht nur herzlich empfangen und mit Tipps zur Umgebung versorgt, es wurde uns sogar ohne Nachfrage und Aufpreis eine Kabine am Strand angeboten, was wir gerne angenommen und ausgiebig benutzt haben. Da das Haus am Tag unserer Abreise keine direkten Nachmieter hatte, hat Caroline uns sogar angeboten, es noch bis zum Abend zu nutzen. Vielen Dank für alles, liebe Caroline! Der kleine Ort ist charmant, verfügt über einen Supermarkt, Bäcker und nette, preiswerte Gastronomie direkt am Strand. Im direkt anschließenden Nachbarort findet man zwei mal wöchentlich einen typischen Markt, täglich frische Meeresfrüchte am Hafen, einen preiswerten Fahrradverleih und vieles mehr. Die nähere und weitere Umgebung lässt sich hervorragend mit Fahrrad oder Auto erkunden. Richtung Osten schließen mehrere Badeorte mit schönen Stränden an. im Westen befinden sich die britischen und amerikanischen Landungs-Abschnitte mit etlichen Museen und Gedenkstätten, die größtenteils sehr beeindruckend sind. Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub – noch einmal vielen Dank für alles!

Entspannende Ostertage
Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Vom Grill, der gut ausgestatteten Küche bis zum kleinen Lesezimmer haben wir zu fünft den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das nun mehr 100Jahre alte Haus ist etwas hellhörig. Es wird von Caroline sehr gut instand gehalten und gepflegt. Ein sehr schöner Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein - wir hatten die ganze Woche sonniges Wetter! Liebe Caroline vielen Dank für den netten Empfang und die Tips für Unternehmungen. Better than we knew!!
The house was great, and we spent one afternoon walking to the Juno Beach Center and picked up FRESH fish for dinner. We enjoyed family meals around the table after days of exploring. We would stay there again!

Maison très agréable
A notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par la propriétaire qui a pris le temps de nous partager ses bons plans (les gaufres du front de mer, un délice !) et ses conseils pour visiter les alentours ou nous restaurer. La maison est cosy et agréable. Les lits étaient faits et les serviettes à disposition, très appréciable. Nous avons pu faire quelques courses à l'Intermarché non loin, mais aussi à la boulangerie du village et aux marchés de Courseulles-sur-mer (mention spéciale pour le marché aux poissons, tout droit sortis des bateaux...). La maison est située près de Juno Beach : nous avons donc pu visiter les sites liés au débarquement canadien (Arromanches, cimetière canadien, musée Juno Beach...). Très insctuctif. Très bon séjour.

wunderbar!
toller Urlaub!! - langer Sandstrand in Laufweite - schöner Ort mit allem, was man braucht (Bäcker, Supermarkt, Restaurant...), aber nicht zu groß! - direkt am Radweg, der mal direkt am Meer entlang, mal durch den Ort führt - super zu fahren! tolles Haus mit allem, was man braucht - gut ausgestattete Küche inkl. Erstausstattung - sehr nettes Lesezimmer mit Spielen und kleiner Buchauswahl - Ersatzhandtücher falls erforderlich - wunderschöner Garten mit vielen Blumen, toll gepflegt und sogar Obst für uns zum Ernten! - Lounge-Ecke vor dem Haus und Gartenmöbel hinter dem Haus, dazu Sonnenschirm und Liegen - das war uns gar nicht bewusst von der Ausschreibung her -> topp! - schützende Mauern um den Garten als toller Windschutz. Im Nachbarort ist 2x die Woche Markt (mit dem Rad über einen Fahrradweg erreichbar), Bayeux/Caen sind gut erreichbar, schöne Umgebung mit fantastischen Häusern (auch im Ort selbst). Das Haus selbst liegt ruhig und trotzdem ist alles gut erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
