Our Home is located on a canal just off St Martins River/Bay.. Ocean Pines is truly a jewel located only 5 miles from Ocean City and the Atlantic Ocean. Contemporary Waterfront Home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Sleeps 8. We are Pet Friendly ( Dogs only ) 2 maximum with a fee. Screened porch overlooking canal. Xfinity tv service and wireless internet. Fully equipped kitchen, central AC, Washer/Dryer ,pet friendly . Weber Spirit propane Grill. Pack and play, stroller and portable high chair.
We can not accommodate any boats , jet skis or trailers at our home.

Ocean Pines Community: Ocean Pines is a premier residential community nestled on Maryland's Eastern Shore . With over 9 miles of waterfront property and enough trees to shade the majority of the 3,000 acres, Ocean Pines is truly a jewel located only 5 miles from Ocean City and the Atlantic Ocean.
The community boasts four outdoor pools, one indoor pool, an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed golf course, a yacht club, two marinas. a community hall, a tennis complex, soccer fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, several lakes, and numerous parks, playgrounds, walking trails, and a new skateboard park.
All Ocean Pines amenities ( pools and golf facilities) require a fee to use.
Age 4 and under are free. 5 and older pay child rate.
*Children 12 and older may come to the pool without an adult. According to the county, 12 is babysitting age so they may come with a younger sibling.
*All outdoor pools are daily rate

October getaway
We enjoyed our stay, the beach is not far, the playground was great, the house was clean and comfortable. We were close to restaurants, shopping, activities and the beach was just a short drive away.

Quaint quiet get away
The neighborhood was very nice as were the neighbors. Property was “as shown in pics”. When we came, the weather was not nice so we didn’t get time to use the enclosed porch or deck. It would have been nice. Close to everything we needed and only a 20 min drive to the beach. Overall the stay was very nice. Bring your own sheets, bath mats, towels etc. other amenities are def available. I give it 4.5 stars overall. Beautiful place and scenery.

Relaxing Getaway
Our family enjoyed a lovely, relaxing week in Ocean Pines. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Easily accomodates pets. The house was clean, cozy and stocked with everything needed for cooking. We did encounter a small problem with the lockbox, but this was easily resolved. Within a short drive to everything we needed to enjoy the vacation!

Love this house. We've stayed several times over the years. Beach-season, off-season, once during a hurricane warning... It's on the water, pool is a short walk away, beautiful sunsets and the house is stocked with every amenity you could ask for. Definitely will continue to return!

Easter bike trip
We took a trip to visit Berlin, and biking in Trap Pond State Park; the location was perfect. We rode on the OC boardwalk, and had snacks. Lots of space, good layout, and a large room that according to my kid "was like being outside without being outside" (sunny). We were able to cook a full Easter dinner with the kitchen supplies.

Nice getaway
All around was a great place to stay. Some things need updated. The one bathroom has no outlets at all. The WiFi and cable didn’t work half the week. But other than that it was fantastic. Great access to the bay. We would stay here again!

Wonderful week!
Our 6 adults and 3 year old Grandgirl really enjoyed our stay here! Sadly for us , we had ALOT of rain but the house was spacious and very well equipped with great appliances, clean counter space and any kitchen gadget , dishes, tableware etc that you could think of . Nice screened in porch as well. Beds were comfy , some ant action was going on but we put a few extra ant traps down and it was fine. We get them in our home when it gets damp and warm so certainly not any issue. You can see the owner keeps up the property maintenance, would stay again!

Great family getaway
Well, it does need to be updated, but, great place for a family getaway. Home has a large open living area in the center with a bedroom (king bed and bunk beds) and full bath to the left and two bedrooms (one with a queen, the other with a king and bunk beds) and another full bath to the right. Sceened in outdoor space and gated front and back decks which was great for our dog. Loads of dogs in the area! There is so much to do in the OP community, great park for children, skateboard park, awesome farmers market on Saturdays, pool, golf, restaurants, and more. Ocean Pines is close to shops, restaurants, casino and racetrack, the beach, and loads of entertainment for the kids. We'll return!

Sufficient
Depending on what you are looking for, this place was sufficient for my family. It allowed for our dog to come along with us which is mainly what we wanted. I was, however, a bit turned off by the cleanliness. I had to clean the bathroom and kitchen to feel more comfortable. It was great otherwise! We spent a majority of our time outdoors and just used the house as a place to rest our heads.

Always a great stay
Sue's wonderful home is always extremely clean & welcoming as we walk through the door. We have stayed several times & love the house & location. The open LR, DR & kitchen is amazing, especially for large families. We've had a full Thanksgiving dinner there & had everything we needed & then some. Love the screened porch & the deck for coffee or drinks. Being on the canal is so very peaceful & it's an easy walk to the pool, tennis courts & lovely path to the water. We were there during TS Ophelia & it was extremely windy & we had pouring rain, but we felt very safe & were completely dry. This was a last minute trip & we were very fortunate that Sue was able to work with us & secure our stay. Very grateful. Sue is the best! We will definitely try to rent Sue's beautiful home in the future. Thank you SO much!

Pretty Good!
Overall, this rental is pretty good. I was a bit disappointed with the lights in one of the bathrooms. We had to keep switching the light switch on and off so that we can get the entire lights turned on. Having said that, the lights closest to the mirror never did turn on. We also could tell this house is an old house and could use some upgrades.

Ocean Pines Mini Vacation
Property was just ok. Was in a nice area, no complaints there. House seemed clean, but a few things need attention as house was sort of run down. The master bath was extremely dark, and the motion lite over tub was annoying as it kept going out. The tub was in extremely poor condition. The 2nd bath was brighter, but only 2 small knobs to hand towels. Towel hooks are definately needed in both bathrooms. Better lighting is needed in all the rooms. Description of house should be clear that tv is streaming only. If a vacationer doesn't stream, they are pretty much out of luck. The "live tv" is old reruns, even the evening news. Overall, it was simply ok for the 4 days I was there.

Old home that has not been maintained. Rent as a last resort
Old home which in itself is not bad...just this one. Yard waste left in driveway. One bedroom powered by power strip and extension cords because outlets do not work. No outlets in one bathroom. The Master bath light worked some of the time. No light on the back deck. Screen porch light was rope lights from an extension cord. Internet did not work at times and was very slow. No dock and space on seawall difficult to get into because of docks on both sides. Lots of "Are you kidding me " moments. I would be embarrassed to rent this place with so many items not working or deficient. Lots of creative photography used in site photos.

Just, “fair” at best
The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed to cook with and more. Bed In the main bedroom was very comfortable. Most appealing of the property were the following: area in the back with view of water, amount of fully stocked kitchen accessories, large and open living space, convenience to beach. However, the condition of the bathroom tub closest to the main bedroom was completely and unacceptably worn, an incredible eyesore, and badly in need of replacing. It definitely was not easily to look at, and we did not use it. Not sure why the place was rented with the bathtub in that condition. What can easily be corrected is that we wanted to ride bikes, but one tire on each was flat, which subtracted from our experience. The lighting in the main living area was not good at all. Some people like bright lighting for working, and should be offered the choice of bright, or not bright. The lower oven also has burnt residue at the bottom, which made the place smell when we tried to use it. This can easily be corrected. The entire house was generally dirty and dusty. My dog was playing with a ball which rolled away. He retrieved the ball, but returned to me with hair and dust in his mouth along with the ball. Outside of property was unappealing with weeds for grass, as well as dead potted plants. All in all, other than sleeping comfortably, the items mentioned above deeply affected our stay, and made the experience quite unpleasant.

Ocean Pines
Well equipped house in a great location. Plenty of room for 6 or 8 people with a great open kitchen and living room. Communication with owner was easy and she responded to. Calls quickly.
