Check in and out was smooth and quick. The room smelled of smoke and was outdated. The Oder of chlorine at the pool made it impossible to go in the area and breathe properly. It was okay in a pinch and convenient to access middle Connecticut.

The couch looked like bleach was spilled all over it or maybe they cleaned up something on with bleach. King bed was super uncomfortable, when my partner moved the whole bed shook. Just not a great night of sleep had by family.

Tiffany was great was accommodating as ever. She helped up and provided with great and responsive service and was always attentive to our needs, sweet, kind and always professional. Clean and tidy place with very friendly staff. I loved the scent of the provided soaps and hair products and the bed was super comfy. Free breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety including make your own waffles, pastries, cereal, eggs, sausage, hot and cold beverages, and more!

I came to the front desk on Friday was helped extensively by I believe Tiffany and she did everything wonderfully. She was kind she was quick. She was polite. She was great to talk to and she helped me out with all my questions. This is not the first time she has helped me so on this property and one of the main reasons I come back is her, second only to the prices. Thanks a bunch for all the help!

Checked in approx 3:52 pm 9/17/2024. Went to get food. Returned approx 5:pm. The room upon entering smelled stale very strong scent of male cologne. Gray chair sitting to the side of bed very dingy from dirt settled in material. The carpet which is aged and with settled in dirt, also worn/torn with separation in multiple areas.That's a law suit waiting to happen. Honestly staff should have made it known so can avoid injury to others.The jetted tub was my entire reason for picking Best Western. Worthless, never been in a jetted tub that didn't have a timer for jets or labeled knobs for jets. B/w Tub will only run jets while water is running. How to relax and soak in a jetted tub if you have to turn off water so it wont overflow? You can pull the plug for water but tub will empty quickly! The toilet seat not only was the incorrect size for that toilet but it was so loose. Traveled 3 hours to stay in this hotel for two days. By 7:pm, decided I would check out. Immediately contacting and requesting pickup, not driving myself was a part of starting my relaxation. By 11:42, I at front desk to check out. Once person returned I proceeded, noting it was 11:42pm and making sure I would not be charged for the 2nd day. Also speaking on the toilet seat and room.I was told would only be charged for the one day of $154. After see a charge $23.room tax. Expedia collects double amount in tax from consumer via the ability to provide info for bookings. Best western applies more tax4 the room.
