"We had previously written Memmingen off as a purely transit town - handy for the nearby airport and nothing else. This was based on the less-than-inspiring train station and it’s immediate vicinity. However, on this visit we were pleasantly surprised to discover a remarkable ’old town’ district a short walk away. Memmingen is worth a longer stay to explore the ancient streets and beautiful buildings, intact after avoiding WWII bombing. The Limehome suite we stayed in was immaculate, very well appointed and in a fantastic location - steps away from the train station and strolling distance from the charming historic centre. Very affordable, spacious and comfortable - we will definitely stay there again to benefit from the cheaper flights through Memmingen airport. "

"We had a very relaxed stay at Hotel Laupheimer Hof whilst in Laupheim on business. Its nice to find a hotel where you can switch off after the hectic days of work & business travelling. We had one of the self-contained rooms with cooking facilities and a large seating area."

"I liked that the rooms are clean, newly renovated, and that the staff is very polite and helpful. Especially Natalie: Thank you for your help re check-in. The check-in itself can have some improvement as the automated service with the help of an automate outside the main entrance does not work if you book via Expedia. All other bookings (outside expedia) work properly. The rest is much better than expected, especially as it is in walking distance from the runway. Thanks for having me! Ray"

"Good place to stay if you are driving a car and visiting Neuschwanstein castle 30 minutes away. Modern facilities. "

"We had two family apartments. One which was the main floor, and one on the third floor. The main level was okay temperature wise with a travel fan; however, the third floor was horrible even with a travel fan. I would highly recommend investing in two fans per room or air conditioning. Bed was comfortable; however, I would invest in real pillows or definitely bring your own. Overall we had a lovely stay. The elevator did breakdown once but was fixed within 24 hours. Location was fabulous and rooms were cute with well equipped kitchen. "
