Beds are appointed with crisp linens and big puffy pillows, cozy blankets for curling up. The game room was a popular hang out-recliners and big TV were amazing! The kitchen was stocked with everything and plenty of room to seat everyone for a meal.

Dream location
This beautiful home made for a perfect holiday gathering for our family of six. There’s a great “flow” to this property which allows both intimate gatherings and enough private spaces to suit anyone’s needs.We enjoyed our meals around the generous dining table, and we all were mesmerized by the most fabulous view over the valley. Game room, ample deck seating, and hot tub offered great entertainment options to all in our group… ages 41 to 77.We give this home all thumbs up. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time getting out of the city and staying here for a few days with friends. The kiddos loved it too! It’s a beautiful house in a beautiful location, that’s well equipped and the owners were very easy to communicate with. The hot tub and video games were big hits, as were the bunk beds -and the view. We'd highly recommend it!

Great Girl's Getaway
Home was perfect for a friend's getaway. Close enough to Berkeley Springs, yet away from it all. Lovely home with gorgeous views. Photos on site are very accurate. Fun Fall Getaway
My wife and I invited some friends and family out to celebrate her birthday. We had an amazing time, and were very comfortable here. The stunning view surprisingly was not dampened by a bit of rain. The place was very clean and there was a lot to do in the house. Definitely a 5 star stay!

Beautiful vacation home
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful well equipped home. The view off of the back deck is amazing! The home is fully equipped with kitchen supplies as well as fresh towels and linens. The house was extremely clean and well kept. We had no problem at all with the WiFi and were able to stream on our computers. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Property!
We are 10 women who graduated high school together in 1977 who get together once a year for a reunion. What a blast we had at this beautiful home in Berkeley Springs! We enjoyed every amenity this home had to offer - from the hot tub, pool table, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds to the gorgeous views from the deck. Our hosts were attentive and helpful. Family Christmas retreat
Had a wonderful stay at Katie's home. Easy communication with Katie and her team. Great time hiking the local trails, making smores in the firepit and spending lots of time in the hot tub enjoying the view. They even left the tree up so we could enjoy a Christmas experience without having to bring our own! :)

Girls Cousins weekend
We came from 5 different states for our annual cousins weekend to relax and recharge. The house was perfect! There were 10 of us this year and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was a hit and the views were spectacular. The house is decorated beautifully, the kitchen is stocked with everything that you need. An amazing cozy place
Such a nice place to stay. The only issue is there isn’t storage for food/pantry items. So the kitchen got a bit crowded cause we love to cook. Everything else was fantastic. And there is a Keurig so bring your KCups!

FABULOUS VIEWS
This house is gorgeous with lots of light and big windows. A huge deck with amazing views and a wonderful hot tub. The fire pit was fun to use too. The beds and bedding were very good quality and we slept very well in them. Everything was well thought through for a relaxing and fun stay. Thank you.

3rd annual friends hang out
For the past 3 years my family has met up with our friends (another family) to spend a week and get away. This year we selected WV - only because this location was too beautiful. The house was comfortable, modern, and has so much to offer. Everything was just perfect. We loved it. The town was fun to explore. We did not want to leave. The house is over the top beautiful and very comfortable! All our needs were met in the kitchen with up to date appliances and plenty of pots and dishes for our group of 8! The game room with huge TV and pool table were a favorite for our teenage grandchildren! Breakfast on the deck overlooking the mountains and counting first time sighting of birds was an everyday event! We had a great time and look forward to another stay! This property is truly as described in the listing. Katie & Jim thought of every detail when outfitting the house. The beds are comfortable, bedding & towels soft and cozy. The kitchen fully stocked for home cooked meals. Game room fun for everyone. Close to town for exploring & takeout- but very private setting. We attended St Andrews- Fr Mikee gave a wonderful sermon & welcoming congregation. We would stay here again.

Great house and very accurate description
We had a great family get together. The house is fantastic, unbelievable view from the back deck, and listing is very accurate. I have stayed at many vacation houses and I must say the the kitchen is exceptionally well supplied. From the large griddle to make large batches of pancakes to having large cookie sheets for baking ... it really makes it easy to cook for a large group of people. Dining room table and table on the back deck are very accommodating. The game room is great as well. Will definitely return if visiting the area again!

Lovely cabin for a family vacation
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home with a breathtaking view. We loved all of the amenities and had so much fun in the game room playing board games and watching movies. We also enjoyed gatherings around the fire pit and evenings watching the sunset. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy some quiet time as well. Our grandson had a lot of room to play and loved spending time in the kids room with the bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking meals and sharing them around the lovely dining table. Excellent family get away
This is a beautiful house with a beautiful view!! Everyone in our family group enjoyed their stay. The age range of our group was 2-75. The beds were comfortable which is a must for our group. The bunk room with the t.v. was a real hit with the children. The adults loved watching movies and football together in the game room. The adults also enjoyed a friendly game of pool and the arcade games. The children also enjoyed a try at the arcade games. The only downside of our trip was a very rainy Saturday, which of course was not the fault of our hosts. But that was why we didn't enjoy more hiking, but did get in some smores at the fire pit!

Stunning views and beautiful home!
We would absolutely recommend staying at Katie and Jimmy's place! Their communication was great and they have obviously been doing this awhile as they had everything so perfectly written out that we never had a need to contact them with any questions. We brought our 2 teenage kids to stay and we all had such a great time! This house is spacious with absolutely stunning views and has a little something for everyone. Our kids loved it so much they actually requested that we stay home one evening and just cook out on the grill and hang around the house. The hot tub is very well maintained and perfect for the 4 of us. We also loved playing the old arcade game in the basement. Thank you for everything!

Perfect stay in Almost Heaven
Our stay at Apache Heights was all we hoped for and more. We comfortably accommodated 13 people ages 14 to 88. The house was exactly as pictured (except new/better patio furniture on deck) and the kitchen was fully equipped. Plenty of space for togetherness and for time away. Abundant wildlife singing nearby. Gorgeous setting for sunrises and sunsets. Bring a hammock and a swimsuit! Prepare for hilly, twisty, narrow roads in this neck of the woods. Hosts were super with communication in advance, and absolutely unintrusive during stay. Follow their guidance on what to bring and you won’t go wrong. We’d stay again in the blink of an eye. You won’t be disappointed!

Thanksgiving Stay
I rarely post reviews online but will make an exception in this instance because the house and the hosts are both deserving of five stars. We stayed in this home for one week in November 2023 for a family Thanksgiving holiday. The home was beautiful, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. The rooms and the views were attractive as the online photos. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and all of the appliances were in good working order which was an important feature for us in planning our Thanksgiving day meal. The hosts, Jimmie and Katie, stayed in constant communication making the check-in and checkout procedures timely and easily understood. During our stay I texted the hosts two times with questions or comments and on both occasions received a response within minutes. I highly recommend this home and the hosts and would not hesitate to book it again if the occasion arises in the future.
