Great accommodation with everything we needed for the weekend and more. Property was really nice to walk and say hey to all of the animals. Very friendly hosts including Dakota the farm dog! Will definitely be back.

Weekend Getaway
We wanted a quick weekend getaway and this was the perfect location. The location on a beautiful farm made it even more special . The Sunrise Suite had everything we needed for the weekend. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful and peaceful setting
Loved the Sunrise Suite! The grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed walking around the property and exploring. The deck was nice. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the deck, watching the swan on the pond, and star gazing at night. The pool was clean and nice after an afternoon of wineries. The location was very close to all the wineries, distilleries, and small towns.

So cute!
The land itself was crazy beautiful, along with the drive. Super cute and off the grid, we were able to see the Milky Way from the back porch which was just fantastic 10/10

Nice peaceful place
We enjoyed the quiet environment. Hosts were friendly and seemed to want to please. I have been on farms when I was young, so this was an environment that brought back some memories. Very clean. We were warned that the WiFi might be spotty, but for all practical purposes, it was non existant. But that was OK since we just wanted to get away.

Gorgeous place to stay and spend time when not looking around at Hermann. Comfortable and clean accommodations, wonderful pool with perfect water temperature, very kind host/hostess, fascinating seeing the sheep/swan/ducks/chickens.

This is "HOME"
This is the laid back, restful retreat that you need. Picturesque. Peaceful. Restorative. With a dog....sort of a therapy dog. Dakota. His very presence alone gives calm, You must see this place and experience a pristeen environment inside and outside. Richard is respectful and caring giving the gift of a therapeutic environment.

What a gem!!
We feel so incredibly fortunate that we found this sweet spot when going to Berger for a cousin's wedding! It is exceptional in all ways! Beautiful, peaceful setting. Very comfortable lodging. The most gracious host (and the dog an extra bonus!) Other bonuses of fresh eggs and honey! Reasonably priced. Easy to get to everywhere we wanted. We will definitely be back if returning to the area. If it's available, book it! Don't delay! You won't regret it! Thanks for a fantastic mini-vacation.

Lovely Stay on the Farm
This property is beautiful! We went to enjoy Hermann, Mo Octoberfest, and very much enjoyed the views, lake with swan, sheep sounds, and other aspects of this working farm. Views from the large deck, and fire pit in the evening were a welcome retreat!

Berger Guesthouse
Beautiful little farm setting outside Hermann. The family treated us like family. They were so sweet and caring. They gave us fresh eggs from their chickens and honey from their hives. The Berger Guesthouse was clean and even smelled clean and wonderful. Their was a patio that overlooked the pond. We sat there every night when we got back. We loved their dog, Dakota, and hung out with him every night. It was just really nice to be in the country and on a farm. It was relaxing. We will be back:)

Perfect Getaway
This place is peaceful, quiet, clean, and quaint. Cathy greeted us upon check-in and made sure to show us around. There was everything you need in the kitchen as far as cooking and she had farm fresh eggs every morning. The Sunset Suite was bright and cheery; complete with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was supplied with towels, rags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and make-up removal wipes. The large deck and fire pit were an added bonus. Richard made sure we had plenty of wood for our night time fires. Everyone was utmost welcoming and the hospitality was top notch. We will be staying here again!

Perfect seclusion
A friend and I decided we needed a change of scenery during all this pandemic craziness, and the Berger farm was the perfect spot. It was so beautiful and nicely secluded. Not far from Hermann, when we want to go and do some wine tasting, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The owners were so nice and helpful. We enjoyed the farm animals and the country sights and sounds. We'll definitely be back!

Great getaway
very clean and peaceful. Dakota is the best greeter in the world! The check-in was quick and owner very friendly and knowledgeable. Not far from Hermann and other wineries but much more peaceful than staying in Hermann. Will do it again.

Another great weekend
This was our 2nd time here this year. Richard and Maggie are the ultimate hosts! Beautiful place to stay, lovely pool and pond and the most friendly farm pets you could ask for. Just and hour and a half from home and its a blessing. We will be back again!

Great weekend getaway
The property was as advertised. Beautiful 1 bedroom place Great deck overlooking a beautiful lake and farm. Great fishing and an awesome pool. Dakota the farm dog was as loveable as could be. And our host Richard was a joy to meet and talk with. Could not have asked for a better weekend except maybe a little cooler. We'll be back!

Berger stay
Greatly enjoyed my short stay here! Close to town but far enough out to enjoy the peacefulness of the country. Will definitely return and planning on making this place and annual getaway. Loved it!
