Romantic farmhouse close to the forest

The artist's village of Bergen with its scenic lanes offers a wonderful countryside vacation near the forest. This 1-bedroom holiday home can host a small family of 2 or a couple and features a pond, central heating, and a terrace. You can greet the neighbour from here at 15 m away and the owner lives 50 m away.

This romantic paradise has numerous walking trails to explore the art history treasures. The beach of Bergen aan Zee is 4 km and the cheese town of Alkmaar is also nearby. Enjoy a swim from the public swimming pool at 2 km. You can also explore Duinen at 2 km.

The home is completely renovated and guarantees total privacy. Booked for a long weekend in October 2023 Left early because the cleanliness of the house was not okay. Cobwebs on the lamps, sticky lamps in the kitchen, fridge not clean, towel with lipstick residue. The owner should take more care of his property. Keywords: rusty bathroom radiator, and only one sensible wine glass, but a lot of kitchen stuff from the previous tenants (oil, spices...) Conclusion: The house really has potential, especially in summer when the garden can be used, but for us the price-performance ratio wasn't right. We spoke to the owner and I can imagine that he will correct the deficiencies here.

kleines nettes Haus in Bergen
Es war schön. Die Lage in Bergen war auch gut. Geschäfte, Restaurants waren fußläufig erreichbar. Zum Meer musste man etwas fahren. Das Haus war gut aber sehr klein.

Aan een klein laantje vind je dit schattige, originele boerenstee. Het ligt in een rustige omgeving, tussen tuinen en bossen. Even opletten bij het binnenkomen, de mensen waren vroeger veel kleiner, de deuropening is dus laag. Maar dat heeft dan ook zijn charmes. De keuken is goed ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. De kamer ligt iets lager en is modern ingericht met veel smaak. Uitstekend meubilair, redelijke eettafel maar groot genoeg voor 2 personen. Handig is het doorgeefluik tussen de kamer en keuken. De slaapkamer is groot genoeg en het bed slaapt uitstekend. Het huisje ligt zo rustig, vroeg wakker worden lukt bijna niet. Doucheruimte is voldoende. Voor de winterperiode is het huisje prima verwarmd, heerlijk is ook de vloerverwarming in de keuken. De omgeving is fantastisch, je loopt zo naar het dorp langs een prachtige laan. Wandelen kun je vanuit het huisje, je loopt zo de bossen en duinen in, zowel naar het zuiden richting Egmont als naar het noorden richting Schoorl.

Sehr erholsam
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Garten ist ein Traum und der Hund durfte sich frei bewegen. Strand und Stadt sind schnell erreichbar und der Wald in der Umgebung ist wunderschön und super geeignet für lange Spaziergänge, selbst bei regen. Gerne wieder!

Das Ferienhaus liegt im schönsten Teil von Bergen auf einem parkähnlichen Grundstück neben der Villa des Besitzers/Vermieters. Das von einem Rietveld entworfene Wohnhaus des Besitzers in modernem, minimalistischem Stil und das alte reetgedeckte Bauernhaus ergänzen sich hervorragend. In dem kleinen Ferienhaus fühlt man sich von Anfang am pudelwohl. Der angrenzende, alte Park mit seinen verwunschenen Wasserläufen lädt gerade zum Spazierengehen ein: Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Abwechslung bieten jährlich wechselnde Ausstellungen von, an den Wegen platzierten, grossformatigen Photografien diverser Künstler. Man merkt - ich komme ins Schwärmen: Ja - wir fühlen uns hier sehr, sehr wohl - und dass unser Hund sich auf dem Besitzergrundstück austoben kann, rundet den Aufenthalt ab.

Hele mooie omgeving. Vriendelijk ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Huisje bij eerste binnenkomst erg deprimerend. Huiskamer donker en wat oudbollig ingericht. Hoogte van de ruimtes is echt een probleem voor mensenlanger dan 175. Keuken is modern en alle nodige dingen aanwezig. Tuin is een heerlijke plek om te vertoeven. Wij hadden gelukkig goed weer, ik had hier niet willen zitten met slecht, donker weer.
